Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba, understand, it is a sad state of events.
We might get into the high 40’s tonight. Unusual for us but welcomed. I like the cooler weather. Of course not 14 degrees. That is hard core cold.
Did a double hike today, one on my own and one with a friend.
I was getting edgy at home and had to get out earlier than usual.

I’m not sure if yesterday was a case of sinuses or just a stomach upset or a bug. Whatever it was it knocked me out for most of the day. Hubby did put the garbage out last night and there was a pickup sometime this afternoon. Yes, I am feeling better, but there was no way to go out and shop. We will go to Costco tomorrow for bottled water.
This afternoon I tore our desk apart and put everything into boxes. I know there are bills to be paid and I will do this tonight rather than wait another day. I know which box those are in. So far most of the papers are to be thrown or shredded and have been doing both. It will be good when everything will have a place and I will be able to find things today rather than tomorrow. It really is a difficult process when hubby kept everything from day one.
I did contact a cardiologist this morning only to find out that we missed an appointment for this morning. I distinctly remember not taking that appointment because it was three days prior to surgery and there was no guarantee that the info would get to the surgeon in time. Anyway, he now has an appointment for March 24th. I have also contacted another group in hopes that there will be an earlier date. Unfortunately at this one I had to leave a message. I really hate when that happens. This group has many doctors and hopefully, there will be an opening sooner. Only time will tell.
I think I will now play a couple of games in the Arcade and then return to the desktop. Have a great evening and try to stay warm.

The ‘burgh got lucky, we had no ice or snow, just rain overnight. Colder for the weekend.🥶
Hockey team had one of their worst games this year.😣 Makes you wonder how they could be in first place then play so bad. Oh well, they aren’t paying me anything, win or lose. Sis says she is getting a cold so I won’t be going up tomorrow.😤 Hope mom doesn’t get it.🤞
Enjoy your evening, I think I will relax with a little something.🍷 Sending a toast to you and Poppy.🥂

@Sheba
Good Afternoon Sheba, it’s a sunny day here. The temperatures to be in the mid-eighties. How did your chilly turned out? I love cooking with garlic always in everything and not just one clove. My hubby thinks I put to much but , I like it and its healthy.
Since that mess has started, my stomach has been turning and I feel a nervous shaking feeling in my body. It’s a horrible thing especially in the year of 2022, we should be passed such a way of thinking.
I hope you and Poppy stay warm. See you in Trivia. -
A Stress-Free Home
Your home will be infused with supportive energy if you take the time to create a stress-free home.
Sometimes our lives are so busy that we treat our homes as if they were impersonal places that we merely pass through. But we can make certain that our homes truly feel like our sanctuaries by taking the time to tend to them like gardens, which need care in order to offer us the beauty of their blooms. When we take the time to treat our homes like beloved treasures, we can shift their energy from being merely places to being wellsprings for the replenishment of our energy.
Consider that homes are the outer reflections of those who live within. If we feel that the current appearance clashes with how we’d like to see ourselves, it can keep us from fully allowing our light to shine. Updating our homes to reflect our inner landscape need not involve massive redecorating or a large outlay of money. Small things can make a big difference, like simply moving items so that we constantly gaze upon the things we love the most, liberating the treasures we’ve hidden in our closets, using our best dishes and making small repairs. Organizing and cleaning is a no-cost way to remove chaos from our homes and introduce more calm. Lovingly rejuvenating our personal space can become a creative project that increases the flow of good throughout all aspects of our lives and increases our feeling of connection. We can give old things new life by donating them to charity, opening space for newness to enter. Removing stress from our homes can be as simple as putting our bills into pretty boxes and choosing a specific time to deal with them, or removing clutter so that we and our energy can move freely throughout our space.
Simplifying our space lets our imagination and energy roam free. We can choose to prioritize our homes, making them the true heart of our family’s activities. Then we are free to focus on what really matters — time to ourselves, to share with loved ones, and to replenish our energy so that we have more to share with each other and with the world. AMEN! ✨✨
