Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba, glad you are on the way to recovery, hopefully your hubs is as well. Glad the magic pill is working. We have not had colds or flu’s at my house but on T-giving both my son and I wanted out of the restaurant because we were both afraid of catching something. It was crowded and no covid protocols in place at all. As in Zippo Zero None. My son and I had a pasta since it was boiled. Yup. So that is why I will cook next year. Which takes me to the next topic.
Xango’s bread recipe.
I tried making it tonight and will need a redo another day. No fault of Xango’s. My dough was too thick and did not resemble the video’s light fluffy rolly polly dough. I will try another day.
Love all of you who can cook. If it wasn’t taught in girl scouts then I can’t cook it. Well to try another day.
Very shocked to hear about Kirsty Alli’s death, I miss the Cheer’s Days! -
This is just too much! Kirstie Alley was a native Kansan right out of Wichita, KS.
May she RIP and she will be missed. Condolences to her family. 🌹🌹
Kirstie Alley, the actress whose breakout role as the career-minded Rebecca Howe in the sitcom “Cheers” catapulted her career and earned her an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe, died on Monday. She was 71.
The cause was cancer, according to a statement from her family on Twitter.
Ms. Alley quickly won over millions of viewers while playing Rebecca in “Cheers,” the timeless NBC show that was broadcast for 11 seasons in the 1980s and ’90s. She had stepped in to replace Shelley Long in the ensemble cast in 1987, at the height of the series’ popularity, and remained until the final season.
Critics noted how Ms. Alley had brought a refreshing new dynamic to the character, with writers giving her a more fun arc that helped create a “denser joke machine,” as one writer noted. At times, Rebecca, who managed the bar in the show, appeared to be a hapless and gold-digging mess. In other moments, Ms. Alley portrayed Rebecca with a faux-bravado, and with an attitude of indifference to others romantic advances.
Ms. Alley also starred in the NBC sitcom “Veronica’s Closet,” which ran from 1997 to 2000. Her character was the successful head of a lingerie company.
Marta Kauffman, a creator and an executive producer of “Veronica’s Closet,” said of Ms. Alley in 1997: “She is crazy most of the time, and I mean that in the best sense of the word.”

I heard my husband cough real bad there is no way I am going through that nor will I sit
for a long time waiting to be seen.I jumped on it Saturday when I saw I was not getting better I made an appointment
and the place was run beautifully I was in and out within an hour. 😎✨I was exhausted
from all the blowing of the nose and coughing good grief. One little pill stopped all that. 😜I will need a couple days to be 100 percent. I do still have some doctor appointments
and more labs coming up this month I am almost done so far so good. The only little block
in my road was this cold. I hear a lot of people are having cough and chest issues. I know how
they feel.Oodie you know I mask up every time I leave my house. This too shall pass. 😘🌹
