Good afternoon to you. Mom, sis and I went to get our nails done and out for lunch. Very nice day today but we will get your snow starting tomorrow night into Saturday. They are calling for 3-6″ and cold.❄🥶 Our St. Patrick’s Day parade is Saturday🍀 and this has happened so many times over the years. But ‘burgh people are tough and I know they will be marching and watching as long as they can get there!💪

Haven’t heard from SIL today but BIL was a little better yesterday. But he could go home and then be back in the hospital within days. This has been the worst since November that I can remember.

Have you ever tried Musher’s Secret for Poppy? It is a balm for the pads instead of boots if Poppy is not comfortable with boots. Works well and you can order online.

Be careful digging out. Stay warm, I will be doing the same on Saturday.😫😝🤬

The Wonderment Of Life

Stopping to feel a moment of gratitude for the many small miracles of life on earth, can be what you need to shift your day.

Most of us begin our days with a continuous list of things we need to do to keep our lives running smoothly, but we rarely take time to note all the things we don’t need to do. For example, we don’t need to figure out how to breathe. We don’t need to find a way to make sure the earth continues to revolve around the sun. We don’t need to concentrate to ensure that our heart beats and our cells regenerate. All of these things, and many more, take care of themselves without our having to think or do anything at all. This is the miracle of life on earth.

Beyond the wonder of the natural world, we have the wonder of human-created conditions such as indoor plumbing, electricity, automobiles, airplanes, telephones, and the Internet to name a few. Someone living just a hundred years ago would be overwhelmed by the ease with which we can communicate with people all over the world. Every day, millions of us jump on airplanes and fly to distant locations in a matter of hours. If we have access to a computer, we can read obscure information about any subject, free of charge, at any time of the day or night. And yet, it’s only when one of these miraculous inventions fails that we notice it at all.

When you wake up tomorrow, take time to notice how many things are running smoothly, how many small miracles compose your day. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, as you put them on, take a moment to appreciate the fact that without them, you would be unable to see. Your life would be entirely different if someone hadn’t invented corrective lenses. As you take in your world, you might feel a moment of gratitude for the basic fact that, once again, the sun has risen to illuminate the abundant earth, and the earth’s gravitational field holds you and all that you hold dear in a tight, life-affirming embrace. AMEN! ✨✨😘

Good day in the ‘burgh and may this be a good day for you and your family. ✨
How is your BIL and SIL? As you know OZ is frozen and on lockdown as far as traffic
and school and such are all closed. Hubby and I are going to try to make a run to the
store I need some fresh fruit and veggies. 😘😎Lady we do have a Fireplace on the heat
is on and the weather is on. YIKES!!! I know come Indian Summer I will long for a day like today.

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast. ✨😘😎I hope it is nice and warm. We are frozen in
OZ and I am on pipe patrol. So far so good hubby is out with our snow blower doing the
driveway and sidewalk. 😘✨We are going to run out for a bit the snow will stay on the
ground for a few days according to the forecast. All schools and Churches are closed.
