Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

I know you can do it. Make that call, send that email, put on those sneakers and start, write that story, turn the page, pass the test… believe that you can because you’ve done hard things before and you’ve made it through, you CAN and you WILL do this too. 💕💗🌸👏🏻 so many of us just need a reminder that we can and we have so much strength of us to do the difficult things life but we can, I hope this helps remind you how brave and strong you are. ✨✨

Sheba, Yay! Happy 8th!!! I remember when I was new to HSN and then new to these threads. Long time ago. I still have the 1st purchase of earrings I bought over 25 years ago. I check the Heidi thread and hope to watch a bit on Thursday. Heidi Daus jewelry is never dull. Since the time change we have to walk an hour later or it is too hot. This works with her schedule airing and my time zone :). Do you still have snow on the ground?

Hello Sheba, how was your day? And how are you feeling?
I see you had a good warm up, 57, that’s great. Soon you will be planting your garden.🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 🌻🌻🌻 🌻🌻 I got some rest, and we got some rain again. Another storm came by and dropped some water. Its most likely we will be getting the storms coming back again, t’s that time of year. The day was mostly partly sunny, not hot and not cold, just right.
I worked in the front yard a bit again today. Took advantage of the full moon and did some cutting. Then I got tired really fast😬😁, took a hot shower and put my feet up till hubby got home.
Take care Sheba -
I am a happy person knowing that you will contiune with this thread. It’s something I do enjoy in the afternoon and evening. I also enjoyed your butterflies. Your dad will be popping in again soon. Even though Florida has been on the warm side, have not seen our butterflies as yet. Guess they are still in Mexico or visiting one of the Caribbean Islands.
I took the new sinus meds last night and “knock on wood, ” the coughing has almost ceased to exist. Took one Benedryl around noon and have been good since. I feel almost like my old self.
Ok, I may have written about the medical being the same in Boston as in Florida. Well, when I first checked a few months ago they were in Boston. Now they are in the outskirts which will make our trip a long one. Anywhere between an hour and a half to two hours and forty-five minutes. Not a good idea when the knee has a tendency to lock in place, thus making walking and standing very difficult. Guess we will do everything in Florida and bite the bullet when everything is said and done. Regardless, we will head North as soon as we are given the OK.
I love our home on the Cape. The house is a ranch with easy access either throurh the garage or the front door. Unlike Florida, we ho have a basement which we turned into a family room and his and her’s office. Also a three quarter bath and an area that looks and feels like a basement. We had a water heater that gave way a few years ago and had to redo the entire area from top to bottom. We have a sectional in the house in Ct. that will look wonderful in this area. We also have a few boxes that we need to go through that are in my office. Just have not been able to tackle it and will make it a priority when we return.
The house in Ct. is a raised ranch. I worry about the stairs for hubby. We have three steps to the front door and another six to the first floor. The house is not air conditioned, thus we have one on wheels which could go from room to room. Love the backyard with all the wild animals including deer, fox, turkeys, beavers, etc.. This is the home we will sell and for now will keep the Cape house. I will miss the backyard, but I won’t miss the ice in the winter and trying not to fall as I walk to our vehicles. House faces North. But the Cape house is where my heart is even when in Florida. I miss our neighbors, working in the garden and planting veggies on our deck. The bad side to the Cape is getting there and once there getting off. There are only two bridges and from late spring to late fall we have a devil of a time circumventing the traffic. The roads and bridges are only two lanes in each direction. On holidays, you might as well just stay home and hum a tune all day. There have been times that traffic was backed up almost to Provincetown. And the theaters. We have met some wonderful people. We had front row seats for Joan Rivers and Don Rickles. Met Betsy Palmer at the Cape Playhouse. So down to earth and so much fun to be with. To think they are gone now. But for some reason the Cape is a place to be. Depending upon when we are able to return will determine when we can start a complete remodel of the upstairs. Kitchen is already done, however, the contractor made a mess of the ceiling and the electrician did not put the spot lights where they needed to be situated. He had the blueprints……..Have a new electrician and will be working with him when we return.
