Hello to you and your husband, we had a lovely day filled with sunshine and a nice breeze.
I cooked some chicken thighs yesterday. I already had the sauce in the freezer. The usual in my cooking, diced onions, celery, carrots, garlic, bay leave, Thyme and Oregano. I added a little tomato paste and and cooked the chicken with it. And I had the chicken wiith polenta. Today I might make me a sandwich with a hoagie and the chicken for dinner. I had a nice bowl of the soup I shared the recipe for lunch. I had it in the freezer and just added a little broth to it and adjusted the seasoning.
Yesterday for dessert I made sauté bananas with a little honey over vanilla ice cream. Today I will have Strawberries and vanilla yogurt.

Good afternoon, happy spring, the weather is beautiful today, warm and sunny.🌞 Most of the week looks good but I think it may turn colder for the weekend. Going to grill some hamburgers for dinner.🍔

I had two gorgeous cardinals on my deck this morning.🐦 I was sure hoping they wouldn’t fly into my glass door. There was a robin this morning that flew into two of my family room windows.😲 They must have just woken up to spring and haven’t got their bearings yet. The ironic thing is my window cleaner came today, maybe he should have just left them dirty. I took the bird feeder down a few years ago because it was attracting too many squirrels and the dog would chase them. I didn’t want Jake to hurt himself.🐶💗

Don’t work too hard today. Poppy said he wants you to relax so he can sit on your lap.🐶🥰

It’s a beautiful day on the Gulf Coast. Sinuses are still bothersome so I try to keep busy to keep my mind off of whatever ails me. I have increased the dosage to two pills, though the Benedryl does work. But, it does make me drowsy and so I slept through the morning only to awake in the afternoon. Hubby wants to take a ride later to Aldi’s. He wants ice cream for his cough. Unfortunately, they do not carry the no sugar added all the time. And speaking of this, when we were in Costco last week, I happened to be in the freezer section and was surprised that they had one that said “no sugar added.” Next time I will bring the freezer bag into the warehouse.

We are supposed to get some rain this week. Yep, another cold front is coming our way. Won’t last long. But the rain may end our crisis for now. Supposed to last a couple of days. Not sure if anything will be something to keep our eye on.
