Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

I did not know about your hearing and eyesight. I hate this happened are you sure

and make sure things are going alright with appts. ✨✨This just does something to me it does not feel right. Please go to the ER or doctor should
this happen again. Oz will be chilly tomorrow. I still have a slight headache. Good grief it

Thanks for making my smile turn into a great laugh. Yeah, my head must be a bit hard. Never had continuous pain. But did have a blurred vision and my bad hearing did worsen. However, as of yesterday, the eyesight is back and the hearing is a bit better than what I had prior. That fall must have opened that Eustachian tube because the hearing is better.
Boy, your weather lately is like a rollercoaster. I do remember one year that we had a blizzard on Mother’s Day. The only problem, we could not make the trip to visit with my mom and when I phoned she didn’t believe me. It was sunny where she was. Told her to put on the TV which she did and she couldn’t believe her eyes. She was only an hour and a half away. We made it up to her during the week and the following weekend.
Thanks for putting a smile on my face. I’m OK now. Think I better find a hard hat. Sleeping is too dangerous these days. Make that two hardhats.

@Sheba
No lamb chops last night. Instead we had pizza. As it turned out, neither of us felt like eating much. Guess the fall knocked some sense into the head. I am actually feeling great. Just wish the sinuses were better. No, I didn’t go out to weed or cut the bushes back. I will probably have to wait for a hot, humid day for that since our cool temps will end tomorrow. Problem is getting up early enough to venture outside and do some work. Go to bed with good intentions and wake up with none.
What I didn’t tell you about the fall is that my hearing went bad along with blurred eyesight. I did mention this to hubby and right away he wanted me to go to either an ER or a Walk In Clinic. I said I would rather wait. As of now, everything has returned to the way it was prior. Only hearing is a bit better. Maybe the fall knocked out some of the fluid in that ole Eustachian tube .But, I am still being very careful. Within reason, of course.
I didn’t watch the Oscars last night, but heard and read about the altercations. Also read how Lady GaGa befriend Liza Minnelli. I like the way she is considerate of others which people could certainly notice and do the same. At least our world would be a better place.
Take care especially when you are out and about alone with Poppy at night. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

I am fine. The only side affect I had was hearing and some blurred vision. Hubby knew this part and both of us decided to relax and stay home. Yesterday the vision returned and the hearing. If this had lasted another few hours I would have gone to ER. I realize that hitting one’s head is no easy matter and should not be taken lightly. I did not weed the garden because the sinuses were working against me. The cough, I think, is starting to diminish, though there are some episodes. Looks like I will work outside when the heat returns. Never an easy time to do this job.
We are still trying to determine if we will remain in Florida for his surgery. I decided to do some rechecking today and I am not a happy person. One of the offices is no longer on the web and the other one, which is closer to our home in Ct. just does not have the facilities that we have here. Meanwhile I am not at all positive that he will be able to sit in the car for any length of time. Right now the answer is we cannot go long distances even with me driving. We will, for now, wait and see. Hopefully, we will receive a phone call this week about the stress test. At least we know his heart is fine. It’s the oxygen levels we are concerned with.
Have a great week. Don’t work too hard. Still not sure when we will heat to the Asian market. Hopefully, soon.

I saw some of the Oscars as I was back and forth doing other things last night. I did see the “let’s get ready to rumble” moment.😲 My husband hates them, he says they are actors celebrating themselves and what other profession does that – do you ever hear of plumbers celebrating how good they are or bus drivers celebrating how well they drive?🤣 I tell him I just watch for the outfits, which is true because I rarely see any of the movies.
Went to mom’s today and stopped at Arby’s because she wanted to try their Reuben sandwich so we had a late lunch/early dinner. I think she was happy for the company.🥰 It is very cold, going down to 15 tonight, 70 on Wednesday and Thursday then back down again. I think the ‘burgh is having global freezing.🥶

Good Afternoon to you and Poopy, I am sure you two are having some good walking in the sunshine.
Yes, lots of drama in the Oscar’s last night……kind of took the vibes out of it.
The new DVR box takes some getting used to. Everything looks different. I did have lots of recorded items in the old one that I wanted to keep. This is our third in the three years. They seem to replace them with used ones, but not this time. So I like to see how long this one lasts.
On my way out right now, it’s nice and sunny. No humidity but it’s not going to last, high temperatures on it’s way here.
I am glad Oodie is doing better, that fall had me worried. Don’t know if she saw my post the day she advised you of her fall. Just really glad she is alright.
Take care Sheba. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 -
Maintaining the Flow
Life energy flows through us like a swift stream, when there is nothing to obstruct it.
The essence of all being is energy. Our physical and ethereal selves depend on the unrestricted flow of life energy that is the source of wholeness and wellness. Though the channels through which this energy flows are open systems and influenced by factors outside of our control, we ultimately choose what impact these will have in our lives. It is up to us to identify and clear blockages in the energy field to ensure that flow is maintained. A healthy, grounded individual absorbs some portion of the energy emitted by other people and the environment, but this does not interrupt the continuous stream of balanced energy sustaining them. The same individual copes constructively with stress and upset, and they are not subject to the stagnation that frequently goes hand in hand with negativity. When we keep the energy in and around our bodies flowing harmoniously, we are naturally healthy, vibrant, and peaceful.
Life energy flows through us like a swift stream when there is nothing to obstruct it, but various forces such as trauma, downbeat vibrations, and disappointments act like stones that impede the current. If we allow these to pile up, our life energy is thrown off its course or blocked entirely, causing illness, restlessness, and a lack of vigor. If, however, we take the time to clear these forces away, we rob them of the power to impact our lives. When we cultivate simple yet affirmative habits such as taking regular cleansing baths, practicing meditation and breathing exercises, smudging, and self-shielding, we protect ourselves from outside influences that might otherwise impede our energy flow. Likewise, we lessen the impact of inner influences when we clear our auras of unwanted attachments and divest ourselves of blocked emotions.
A strong and fluid energy field is the key that unlocks the doors of self-healing and peace of mind. Your awareness of the flow of energy sustaining you empowers you to take charge of your own well-being by taking steps to unblock, correct, and enhance that flow. Fear will likely be the culprit when you cannot identify the source of stagnation — you may simply be afraid to let go of what is obstructing the flow. Letting go can be challenging, but the exuberance you will feel when the flow is restored will be a welcome and blessed reward. AMEN! ✨✨
