Happy Easter Weekend to you and your husband.
I am cooking for Easter too, fish today and tomorrow. On Saturday I am making pork, vegetables and some kind of starch for me. I think for Easter Sunday I am making a brunch, quiche, Italian sausage, Cappuccino, some kind of either Sunflower-Almond or and chickpea flour bread for husband. Maybe I will make me an egg bread with raisins and dried fruits the quick way. Not the Panettones I made for Christmas, it takes to long and to much work. Or maybe just some apple muffins, as you can see, not sure😄😄 No one is coming over that I know of.

Spectrum was here for just a few minutes to relocate our landline phone. They need to return to update their equipment and to redo the entire wiring. I surmise that everything here dates back to the previous cable company. There is no hurry to have the work done, but it is something I will not wait on. I will try to have the work done before hubby has surgery.

To say I am exhausted is an understatement. No sooner had the technician left I sat down and the next thing I knew it was after 8 pm. Tomorrow I will take the day off and make a trip to Costco and to the Farmer’s Market. I hope there is a Trivia game tomorrow. This is a holiday weekend for most and anytime that happens I become concerned. I recall the times under the old ownership that the tech unit didn’t work and the many times we were all left in the dark without a game.

Hope you are feeling better. Next week is a busy one for us. We have the stress test, A/C people to clean the machine, vents, etc.,, hair appointment and a few other things as well. I also want to stop at Lowe’s for plants and a myriad of other things. The house is really starting to take shape. I think we need new window treatments in the master. I literally packed everything into boxes. Actually, I threw everything into many boxes and will start going through them over the weekend. So excited to finally get to this point. My decision to make this room a beach theme is coming together. FINALLY!!!!!

Love the Faberge eggs. The workmanship is unreal. I think I have a book on them up North. There have been some reproductions, but nothing close to the original.

Have a great evening. I would wait on the planting just to be sure that all freezing temps have passed, especially nighttime. Hi to Poppy. . .

Gorgeous eggs!!! I did see the Blue Angel, thank you, maybe I will pour one tonight.🍸

Last two days were sunny and warm, we hit 80 yesterday.🌞🔥 Opened windows and did not have to touch the thermostat. Had some rain this morning and now sunny but cooler. It will only be 50 on Easter. Taking mom tomorrow for an early hair appointment and then to Good Friday services. Church and brunch on Easter. Husband’s sister invited us to dinner at her house but that will be too long of a day so took a raincheck.

Sis called from the ship yesterday to let me know she was on board and all was fine. After she gets back it will be four more days until she gets back to the ‘burgh. Can’t wait.😊

Yesterday I got two emails that had a brown lab on them for pet items. Then I was throwing some old cards away and found one from my nephew with a brown lab that he sent me two years ago. Too much of a coincidence, maybe it’s a sign.🐶

Recognizing Your Value

Change your thinking to knowing that your life matters, and that you are important.

It can be easy sometimes to buy into the illusion of our own insignificance. We may see large corporations or institutions, celebrities or successful people in our community, and compare ourselves to them, thinking that their fame or material power affirm how little our own lives amount to. But nothing could be further from the truth. Every single one of us matters — tremendously. Our very existence affects countless people in countless ways. And because we are each essentially a microcosm of the larger universe, our internal experiences affect the whole of life more than we could ever imagine. The world simply could not exist as it does now if you, or any one of us, were not in it.

Perhaps you are aware that on some level you believe your life does not matter. If this thought resonates within you, maybe it is time to explore why you feel this way. You may have formed self-rejecting or belittling beliefs as a child to keep yourself safe or to help you make sense of confusing situations. You may have felt unseen or unheard and decided that there was something wrong with you, rather than with the attention span of the people around you. Spend some time looking into where these feelings of insignificance first took root, and see what changes you might be able to make in your life and in your heart.

This one belief in your own unimportance could be limiting you and impacting your life in enormous ways. When you shift your perceptions around your own ability to affect your life and impact the world, you may discover wonderful parts of yourself that you had long ago forgotten. There may even be exciting new parts that you never even knew existed. When you gain awareness of how much your life really does matter, new sources of energy can emerge and your sense of connection with the world is renewed. AMEN! ✨✨
