Conversation – 17

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thanks for being there through our ups and downs. We will probably hear from the Orthopedist next week. That will give us an idea on when we can pack up and head North. Right now it looks like May or June which will keep us here into July. Without A/C at the other homes, not sure what we will do. Will keep everyone posted.
Cannot wait to hear about your Sister’s cruise. Hope she had a great time.

YAAAAY!!! Been waiting for this good news. You two definitely need to celebrate!✨💕🥂

Happy Earth Day – It is beautiful in my little section of the earth today!😊 We will be having summer for three days🌞😎 then back down to late fall in the middle of next week. Mother nature needs to get together with mother earth to straighten things out.
Don’t know why but I was so tired yesterday I barely made it through the hockey game.😴 Today I ran to a couple stores for mom while she was at the hair salon. Tomorrow she is going with her neighborhood group to a show downtown and dinner after so that will take up her whole day. We will probably wait until next weekend to celebrate her birthday since sis gets back late Tuesday.🎈🎁
So glad Poppy is better.🥰 That is one reason I wish dogs could talk, makes us crazy trying to figure out what’s wrong.😩 Been there, done that soooo many times. I’m sure your heart was pounding.💓 Sending hugs to you both.🤗💕

The sun is out, humidity will start to climb, and I’m indoors. Had a phone call this afternoon from the cardiologist. The stress test came back. The oxygen tests came back normal. The heart is also fine. I am jumping for joy. Hubby is asleep and yes, he knows. We are going to celebrate, eventually.
Even though Poppy feels better today, to be safe, have him checked just to be sure. Pooches are great at hiding other symptoms. They are like children. Fine one minute, not so good the next.
See you in Trivia.

Good Afternoon Sheba and Happy Earth Day 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
I see you are at 75 degrees today, that’s a warm day for you. I am sorry Poppy is not feeling well.
I hope by the time you read this, Poppy is feeling better.
Butterflies are starting to come by now in front of the house where the milkweed is. And in the back, I placed a few pieces of cantaloupe in the bird feeder. The Cardinals, a Male and female comes and have a feast. Early this morning I saw the big rabbit enjoying the yard and the fresh grass. The other day I saw a smaller rabbit, not full grown yet.
Enjoy your afternoon Sheba, see you in Trivia tonight. 🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳

Finding Nature in Your Neighborhood
Nature is all around us and there is a plethora in every neighborhood, one only needs to become still and watch.
Because both cities and tightly packed suburbs offer wildlife bountiful nooks and crannies in which to hide, it can be difficult to spot the animals that live in our midst. Many thrive among paved streets, sidewalks, buildings, parking lots, and high-rises. There are animals in abundance burrowing in the soil of center medians and tiny backyard gardens, making nests in the trees that line broad and busy avenues, and buzzing round the flowers that beautify our parks. To find these creatures, we only need to stop, look, and listen. Nature’s drama is continually playing out on the window ledges where weary birds stop to roost, in the shadowy places where cautious nocturnal mammals wait for night’s mantel to fall, and the fountains where playful waterfowl splash and frolic. In observing the animals that share our habitat, we become a part of their beautiful, complex, and exciting world.
Season by season, cities offer diverse ecosystems for you to explore. If your search for urban and suburban wildlife is challenging, try to look at your community with an animal’s eyes. Where there are shrubs and flowers, insects such as butterflies, ladybugs, beetles, and spiders can usually be found. The insects, in turn, attract the birds who feast upon them. Even the smallest green spaces are hosts to squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, and moles. Decorative awnings offer falcons a place to raise their young. At night, a different community of animals wakens to the world. Raccoons, skunks, and possums emerge to examine our human leftovers for edibles. Even pets feel the call of the wild–it’s not uncommon for well-fed cats in colorful collars to stalk the streets in search of prey. Signs of habitation, like nests or hives, and audible evidence, like chirps, will help you find them.
Recognizing that you share your city with a wide range of animals can make you feel like a part of the grand circle of life and help you appreciate the importance of a healthy urban environment. You can admire the hardiness and adaptability of the urban animal while developing a sense of stewardship that inspires you to become their champion. The shrill calls of birds, the hum of bees, and the sweet squeaks of city-dwelling mammals can be a symphony that help you develop a deeper connection with the nature world. ✨✨ AMEN!

Good morning in S. California and Happy Earth Day. 😘😎✨Taci glad things are
working out with the plant and thank goodness your son was home to come to the
rescue. 😘💕Taci I don’t know how someone could be so evil to kill a terminal breast cancer patient.
Then to make matters worse tried to pin it on the victims husband and to kill an innocent
man for no reason not to mention the upcoming charges she may have killed her own
mother. Good grief what is wrong with her? I think they should throw the book at her.People are talking about how well Renée Zellweger played her the girls by the way
never got the money their mother left them. This is a very sad story all the way around.
Happy Trails to you on our Earth. 🎶🎶
