Happy Memorial Day Peeps! ✨😎

Sheba, I forgot to thank you for the seashells. They will look great with my collection. Great way to spend a morning or late afternoon. So much fun to find something special and to enjoy it any time. I have a few pots filled to the brim on our deck at the Cape. Each one has a story. Great hobby.

Here we go again. I have no idea what happened to my first reply, but it is in limbo somewhere.

Love the beach theme from Heidi. It is so indicative of the Cape and the Gulf Coast. It is a shining beauty, even at night. The bike is on it’s way and I can hardly wait for that as well. I am sure people will gasp at these two items. And speaking of the Gulf, thank you for the seashells. It is a hobby of mine and a great way to enjoy an early morning walk.

I am definitely looking forward to the new furniture. Unfortunately, I will have to make a call to the store tomorrow to see if we can change the day. I honestly forgot that there are other things more pressing and Friday or after would work better. I would have made the call today, but I had other issues due to something I ate. Felt like the grip and later I realized it was a sulfite thing. Slept the afternoon away. Thank goodness the cause did not come from the Farmer’s Market. Their fruit and veggies come directly from a farm and all deli items are homemade by the Amish. Even the pickles. Have a feeling it was a pizza hubby purchased at Aldi’s. It’s the only label I didn’t check. YIKES!!!!! Will I ever learn???????

Suffice to say, we didn’t venture out today. I do know that the temps were in the 90s and that the humidity is back. Rain chances for tomorrow is over 50%. We are also watching the first hurricane of the season which will be hitting Mexico tomorrow. There are a few predictions that it may reform in the Gulf after Tuesday. At the same time Florida is having a sales tax holiday on items needed during the hurricane season. For the first time ever, it also includes pet food, though there is a price limit on each item.

Here’s hoping for a great evening. The kitchen looks amazing. Just the floor is left. At least something did get accomplished. Stay safe.
