Club Sheba

Hi Again. I just tried something new for doing the kitchen floor and while I wait, decided to read the news. Three times I came across the weather for tonight and tomorrow. Better keep that radio on for some bad weather. Not sure of tornados, but do not rule it out.

Hubby spilled something on our comforter and just went to the laundry room to see if I can get the stain out. In doing so, happened to glance outside and saw the most beautiful cloud being shined on by the sun. It was the most gorgeous shade of pink I have ever seen. Next time I will get the camera. Well, first I have to set it up then once I do the pic, need to learn how to upload it to you. One of these days I will learn the how tos”. Have not seen the spoonbill lately. Guess he/she flew towards Naples where it’s warmer or maybe it took a Caribbean cruise. I could just picture it doing a wing up for a ride. I have faith that your labs will be A++++.

Good afternoon Sheba, I hope this finds you having a wonderful Sunday.
It’s a hot and muggy day here, hard to be out for any period of time.
The plants certainly liked that showers we received along with the Sunshine. There’s lots of buds on the Hibiscus. Also the butterfly flower I got from QVC light years ago has beautiful flowers and its smells amazing. The milkweed has been spreading their seeds all over, the seeds are starting to sprout.

The kitchen and bar are done, finite, over, etc.etc.. Working on the dining room/area. It’s almost done. Then the great room and the den. I will be replacing the loveseat that is in the den with another one that will be easier to get in and out of. Right now, you sort of sink, or should I say, almost sink to the floor. That is also true of the furniture in the Great Room/Living Room.

Oh, I tried something different this morning for breakfast. Hubby picked up a pizza from Aldi’s. I decided to cut into it and make it in the air fryer. It came out heavenly and yes, I did add some extra things to the top. It still tasted like it came from a pizza place. Also took no time to make it. And here I was really going to make a lox and onion omelet.

The air purifier came late yesterday afternoon/early evening. Hubby could not wait to try it out.
However, he plugged it in and it does run, however I made him unplug it immediately. I had to read the directions first and guess what, we should have. This whole thing inside and out can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The filters also. However, before plugging in, we needed to remove the plastic inside the machine. So easy. Best part you can set it to turn off and turn on automatically. And, it is so lightweight. Too bad the boxes were heavy and cumbersome. I will be using it as I work in the dining area. Also will not have to move it while doing the great room or the kitchen floor. No, this one does not have the UV.. Before purchasing I had looked at the ones that include the UV for getting rid of bacteria in the air. But also discovered that it adds carbon which we do not need. Actually, the UV should not even be part of the machine. I think I spent over five hours comparing air purifiers prior to purchasing.

It’s a very sunny day in Florida. Temps are in the 80s and low 70s at night. Best part is that the pollen count is in the threes, which means sinuses are not as bad. Cough is still there, but no meds needed. That is a real good sign.

Yes, this week is quite busy. Hospital visit for tests, Orthopedist visit on Friday, Furniture on Wednesday and sometime this week a haircut for hubby and one for me as well. I will be contacting Spectrum tomorrow for an appointment. I delayed this because we are still living out of boxes and the cable has to be changed not only in the house but outside as well. Right now their WiFi goes in and out and the cable is non-existent. They will also set up the new TV in the great room, but I have to remove everything in the entertainment area before hand. That goes for the top as well. Reason is because the middle portion has to be moved so they can get into the back. The sides of this unit does come a part which hubby and I will do prior. Again, more “stuff” to go through and donate.

Have a great evening. Hopefully, the rain will end and you will be able to see the moon on your walk with Poppy. Oh, forgot to congratulate you on a great Mam and Bone Density. Walking does help. Actually all exercise is great for those bones. I will not let myself become a “{couch potato.” That’s a given.
