on a DG top. I was in the wind and loved every minute of it. 😎😘✨

I did get my bike ride in before hubby was off from work. I had Poppy on the inside Patio
Room I left the door open so he can see outside. I went around a few times I needed to
feel free. 😎😜

Oz is about to have a thunder storm please be safe out there if you have storms. ✨

No, I haven’t contacted Spectrum as yet. Everything has to be in it’s place before they come out.
I’m not there yet. I’m just hoping that I can get the living room done in time for the furniture delivery and that goes for the den as well. I am really trying to get ahead and when it seems we are getting close another cyclone hits or so it seems. The dining room is coming along and most of the clutter in the living room should go on our lanai. There are four chairs and a couple of end tables that need to go out. Oh yes, cushions for the chairs. There is a huge wicker trunk that will become part of our bedroom. When we head North the outdoor cushions will be stored on top and inside. As I said many times, I only have two hands and normally hubby is helping, but not now. I just pray that I can get most of the house in order prior to Monday’s surgery. Top priority is the bedroom and bath and a call to Spectrum.

The hospital called this morning to verify the time. However, they called again, just a few minutes ago. The time is now very early afternoon which means I will need to get a move on long before. Part of my problem is the sinus issue. One of the pills I take is Benedryl. It is the fastest thing to stop the cough. However, it does make you sleepy. So, I fell asleep for a couple of hours. There are times that I wish I had a couple of pair of hands. This is one of them.

Sorry I am venting. Trying to get the house in order. It is a complete disaster. Will write later.

BIL back in the hospital again. Don’t know much yet but many things elevated, need to wait until SIL has more info.😥

Mulch guy just finishing up outside so I will start dinner. Colorado could wrap up the third round tonight and be on to the finals.🏒 You and Poppy enjoy your evening with the nice weather, sounds like you two will have a good walk.💗

Natural Sounds Meditation

Meditating with the natural sounds of nature, will help you connect to something larger than yourself.

The tool most commonly used to focus our minds in meditation is the breath. When we sit down to meditate, drawing our attention inward counteracts our habitual tendency to be scattered. Meditation on the breath helps us gather our energy into our bodies, centering and grounding us in the present moment. Almost as readily available as our breath are the sounds of the natural world. From rain to wind to the ocean and birds, meditating on these aural manifestations brings us not only a sense of peace, but also an experience of connection to the physical world.

It is easy to get stuck inside our own heads and our individual lives. We get caught up in our goals and plans and almost forget that we live in a world that is always there, humming away in the background. There is an internal shift that occurs when we tune into that background and really give it our attention. It’s as if we are discovering a more expansive world, because we are. We are also experiencing ourselves in relation to something larger. This discovery makes us feel rejuvenated and more expansive.

The vast and ceaselessly churning ocean is an ideal place for meditating on the sounds of nature. Sit quietly and surrender to the sounds of the thundering, crashing waves. Let go of your ambitions and listen. Rivers and lakes also sing their own songs. Even if you live in the middle of a city, the wind howls and whistles and the rain taps out a variety of sounds depending on where it falls—on the sidewalk, a tin roof, a car window, or a muddy slope. Tune into these sounds next time you hear them instead of letting them fade into the background. Stop and listen as if you are hearing a sublime piece of music. Let the music of this world take you on a journey of natural sounds. 😘✨ Amen!

Howdy in the ‘burgh and I hope this is a good day for you and the family.

How is hubby Golfing going? Are your nieces back on the Golf Course?

My 17 year old nephew had his graduation party this weekend in Colorado. My mom and the
entire family was there. This week no one in the family had Covid-19. I thank the good lord
for that. 😘✨😎 I do have nieces who have Master’s in teaching and sometimes I get concerned about their safety. My nieces have promised me they are doing everything to
protect themselves.

Lady sometimes you have me cracking up with some of your responses. LOL! 😜Honest
you have a great sense of humor and that is what we need in this day and time.
