I just read your post . You are indeed someone very special. Starting today hubby cannot take any vitamins or his 81mg aspirin. For pain, he is limited to Tylenol and right now he is doing what you have been doing for many, many year. I can relate to the excruciating pain. But not taking something to ease it, is remarkable. I also realize that Aspirin in any form in a no no because it can cause havoc on the liver. I have a feeling that cooking is not only something you totally enjoy, but is a hobby as well. I also like the fact that you never say you cannot do such and such. Instead you say and think “I can try.” No is not a word in your vocabulary. Nor are the words, “couch potato.” Instead of complaining, you go about the day as if nothing is bothering you. I just hope I can live up to those standards when my arthritis gets to be a bit much. I really appreciate you taking the time to give us an idea of what your day is really like. And in some ways, I already know.

I read every word you wrote in your post. I am amazed that you have been through a lot.
I feel for you I will respond more tomorrow I know you are tired.

I was nearly killed by a driver in Illinois I was getting my Catholic School Girl
Uniform from the cleaners and I went to cross the street and out of no where came
a car I went straight up in the air my shoes came off my feet. My brother was with me
and ran to get my mom who was eight months pregnant. I spent the entire summer in
the hospital my hips were dislocated and my pelvis was broken and I had a concussion
and blood clot in my leg. All I heard was if I did not heal I would not be able to have children.

Well that was not going to happen and I was all of eleven years old. Well I think I proved
the doctor wrong I gave birth to four beautiful children one C-Section our son and the girls
were all normal no problems ever. ✨😘 Now I had to have PT and it was agony I never
realized how heavy the legs are until I could not walk. Oh, I had both legs in a traction.
What fun. I am very sorry you have to go through so much pain.

My ride was great on the bike. I do see the Oncologist this week and see one doctor
and I am done for six months. 😎

Hello Sheba, I hope this day was a good day for you.
I have read your posts from yesterday and today.
Sheba, how was your bike ride🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️.  Poppy must of enjoyed staying safe and sound looking out the patio.  🐕🐕  I hope your sinus is better. You asked me how I was feeling. Sheba, there not a day that somewhere in my body I don’t have some kind of pain. I just try to live with it I have lived throughout my life because of my hip. I was born with Hip Dysplasia. And didn’t walk by two years so mom took me to the doctors.  This was in Brazil, and somehow they placed the femoral head into socket. At least I think that’s what happened.  Which I was placed into a brace like with a bar across and two brown shoes.  That’s what I remember, somehow that’s in my memory. 

But in third grade here in the USA, playing during lunch in school jumping over coats I fell with both knees to the ground.  Got up started limping and huge pain on my knee. After a while mom took  me  to the doctor and had an x-ray on the knee but it showsed nothing.  After about 30 days the hip was x-rayed and the hip had dislocated.
This was 1969, and the manager at a bowling alley mom worked at helped her with health insurance for me and got them to paid for the operation. I was a Guinea pig for the Washington Hospital Center.
  We came to the USA in April of 1967, two years later I go and do such a thing.  Meanwhile my dad was diagnosed with cancer, so my poor mom had her hands full. After the operation I stayed in the hospital for about 5 days, had a body caste from my chest to the right foot and to half the left leg with a bar across attached to the cast. Went home on a ambulance, both mom and dad cared for me, but I came down with an infection and back to the hospital.  I was placed in isolation what seemed forever then to a room with another child.  Not long after that the infection was back and so was I in isolation. 
Mom would come to visit and fall asleep sitting on the chair talking to me.  She would come from one job, 11PM to 7AM cleaning the bowling alley.   To cleaning, washing, cooking working in peoples homes. I not sure what really happened but the  operation didn’t turn out to way it should have.  The doctors wanted to operate again, I didn’t agree to it again and I would scream no,no,no. To the point my mom said no to another operation. 
Unfortunately the following year 1970 in October my dad passed. My poor mom certainly did go through a lot in the first few years here in the USA. We arrived with nothing and made the best of what we had.
 I have to be careful , I can throw my  back out easily. And of course the back hurts at times also, the hip, the foot, the knees. Then I have to be careful not to hold a pot full of water with only my right hand. It throws my wrist out.  And of course as we get older more and more pain comes our way. I don’t take any thing for pain. I used to take Aleve for my hip, when I worked or had an event to go to. But that too is dangerous for your liver, so I stay away unless absolutely necessary. 

At night in bed,  if I am on the right hip for more than 5 minutes I have to switch to the left or just on my back. I do that back and forth turning from side to side and the back until I fall asleep. 

Those gourmet cakes are the most delicious. In just a very tiny few days defg will be celebrating her milestone Birthday.
