Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

The furniture arrived and I am a happy camper doing my happy jig. In the store it looked like a darker beige with white piping going around the sofa and loveseats and also around the pillows. Here it is a soft gray and I am happy with that as well even though the color is not ever my first choice. And when you sit in it you do not sink to the floor. Easy to get in and out of and following surgery I bet hubby will end up being in the den or living room. Too tired to start the real cleaning process. May try later if I can or tomorrow after hair appointment. The boudoir swivel chair is on back order and is expected sometime in July. Actually, the color is perfect. It makes everything stand out.

Please be careful today as well. I read the news on MSN and it looks like you may be in for the same as last night. Then again, it could be old news. But be careful nevertheless.
I fell sound asleep shortly after midnight and awoke around 3 am to take my vitamins and run to the “library.” Took no time to doze off again. Right now I am taking a break. Hubby has fallen asleep and this is the time I really could use those extra hands. Guess I will vacuum the den area. I may move one more table away from the location where the loveseat will go. Not sure if I will contact Spectrum since the house really can use some good dusting from ceiling on down. The air purifier is working well. My coughing is there, but stops on it’s own. No where like the way it was prior to ordering and receiving this wonderful machine. Right now it’s off since dust is flying everywhere. Well, still have more to do.
The new seat for the bedroom I will have them deliver to the hallway. The replacement will be there as well. I’m really excited for the new furniture even though the house really isn’t ready. But, give me a few days and there will be a decided change. Hubby wants me to think about donating the wicker chests. Hmm……I’ll wait on that one. Want to see how one fits in our bedroom and the other as a coffee table in the den. Both are useful for storing the outdoor pillows.
Hubby is now up. I will write more later if I am not too tired. Have my hair appointment tomorrow morning. All this for vanity when hubby has his surgery and goes for physical therapy. Actually, starting Monday it will be almost impossible to work around the new schedule.
Take care of yourself along with Hubby and Poppy. I suggest you either put the TV on to Spectrum or some other news channel for the weather reports. I am finding that their weather people are not that bad. Actually very good.

Putting People on a Pedestal
When you put somebody on a pedestal, it is giving away your power and saying you are not good enough.
When we fall in love with someone or make a new friend, we sometimes see that person in a glowing light. Their good qualities dominate the foreground of our perception and their negative qualities. They just don’t seem to have any. This temporary state of grace is commonly known as putting someone on a pedestal. Often times we put spiritual leaders and our gurus on pedestals. We have all done this to someone at one time or another, and as long as we remember that no one is actually “perfect,” the pedestal phase of a relationship can be enjoyed for what it is — a phase. It’s when we actually believe our own projection that troubles arise.
Everyone has problems, flaws, and blind spots, just as we do. When we entertain the illusion that someone is perfect, we don’t allow them room to be human, so when they make an error in judgment or act in contradiction to our idea of perfection, we become disillusioned. We may get angry or distance ourselves in response. In the end, they are not to blame for the fact that we idealized them. Granted, they may have enjoyed seeing themselves as perfect through our eyes, but we are the ones who chose to believe an illusion. If you go through this process enough times, you learn that no one is perfect. We are all a combination of divine and human qualities and we all struggle. When we treat the people we love with this awareness, we actually allow for a much greater intimacy than when we held them aloft on an airy throne. The moment you see through your idealized projection is the moment you begin to see your loved one as he or she truly is.
We cannot truly connect with a person when we idealize them. In life, there are no pedestals — we are all walking on the same ground together. When we realize this, we can own our own divinity and our humanity. This is the key to balance and wholeness within ourselves and our relationships. AMEN! ✨✨😎

Good afternoon in the ‘burgh. 😘✨😎Lady come to think of it the storm last night
could have landed me in the ‘burgh. 😜❓ We had a heck of a storm with sirens going
off for about a half hour my nerves were raw. I was in a good sleep and hubby woke me up
I grabbed Poppy and some Paperwork and we went into our finished basement. All went well and the storm passed some people last power. I went in the backyard and
leaves from all the trees are everywhere. I let Poppy walk around in the backyard and his
little spot in the back. I don’t trust the trees we had rain and high winds.I hope your day is calmer and your team in Hockey are winning. 😎😜
Hey it’s 5:00 O’CLOCK somewhere. 😜😘

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast. Oodie you have a lot going on. Do take care.
I just wish you had someone to help life and move things for you.I hope Spectrum can work in a weekend appointment for you they do here in OZ.
My husband could not go with me when I had surgery we said goodbye as they took
me away. Oodie they should have a computer board with your husband’s name on it
and you can see when they start and finish with the surgery. I would ask as many questions
as possible. I know you will be relieved when this is over. I will breathe a sigh of relief. 🌹✨I have labs and the Oncologist this week and I do not see him for another six months.
This is all routine protocol but the nerves can get the best of anyone.I hope you are sleeping well. 😘✨
This is for when you and hubby go back to your Cruises. 😘✨
We had one heck of a storm last night. Shizzle! 😜😎

Good afternoon in sunny Florida. 😎✨I did read all of your post last night.
I had no idea you were dealing with so much. I know you miss your mother. 🌹I hope today is a good day for you. No pain.
I wish I could hug you. Hey I almost ended up on you or Oddiebom porch last night.
I was in a deep sleep and my husband woke me up to loud sirens going off in my
neighborhood that has not happened in a long time. WE quickly went to the basement
which is like an apartment we have TV and it’s very nice. We stayed put. We were able to
watch the weather alert as we are talking 2:00 a.m. and our main weathermen were on.
I have never seen that before! The sirens were loud I stayed calm and hubby and Poppy
were with me we were all safe. ✨I went outside this morning and it looks the part I mean
tree leaves not limbs at least on my property are everywhere. I did not dare go for a walk
as I don’t know what would come down on me. 😜I sent Poppy to his area in the backyard it is silence around the area that is eerie.
I hope you have a wonderful day. 😘✨
