Good evening, or should I say good morning. It’s almost 12 am. The furniture arrived yesterday and though it is not the color we had seen in the showroom, it is still very pretty. At night it looks gray, but during the day when the sun hits it, it’s like a bluish gray. We will not be calling for an exchange. And, yes, it is easy to get in and out. These pieces do not touch the floor.

Had my hair appointment this morning. I was running late and as it turned out, so was the hairdresser. Came out perfect. But, nothing accomplished on the house today. I was just too tired to move. Took a nap this afternoon. Hubby has an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow and to go over any questions. This physician is amazing. He actually takes the time to answer all questions. Tomorrow I will give him the measurements for the stairs leading to the front door. I will do the same for the step into the van. He has a walker from his previous stay in Savannah and I will bring that with us. He is not too thrilled to be using it again. Too cumbersome. I will be asking about one with wheels and a seat. Wondering if we will need a handicapped thing for the van since he will be out of commission for 6 weeks. Why I didn’t think of this sooner is a good question. I really think that the two of us will be really happy when the surgery is behind us.

I know Trivia is today. Not sure if I will make it. Then again it is a good diversion. I will be working on the Bedroom and hopefully will have everything in order prior to surgery. I will contact Spectrum when all boxes are emptied or when most can be put elsewhere so the guys can move around.

I read that xango has been seeing lots of rain. We have not seen one drop. Friday we may see some thunderstorms, but, again, will not hold my breath. I see you are under another storm advisory. Please take care. As for us, the tropics are quiet.

Hello Sheba,  Wow where to start!  You have been through so very much as a child. I truly understand that pain, that sacrifice, and losing a summer to medical procedures. At that young age you had the courage and the determination to get better and show those doctors they were wrong. 
You certainly have gone through a lot, as a child and as an adult. Thank God you got well, and are  the mother of your beautiful children and Poopy. 
So glad for you Sheba,  the Oncologist appointment,  your labs all went well.  Your mammogram and bone density report was read by the Oncologist and you got another affirmation of all is well. One more, the primary care and you’ll be able to take it easy for the remaining of the year.

We have been getting storms every day now, lots of rain and wind along with thunder. But I have not kept with the weather in your area and was surprised to read the storms you had. I am glad you have a basement with all the convenience for keeping you all safe and comfortable.  I am sure Poopy must of been very nervous and wondering what was going on.  So glad you have power and your home is fine, nevertheless be careful out there.

So glad you are happy with the new furniture.😊 Funny, I need to do the same thing for the same reason. Our loveseat in our TV room is old and some days it is so hard to push ourselves up off of it when the knees are sore. My husband keeps saying we need to get a new, firm one. I just haven’t been in the mood to go furniture shopping. Too many more important things to do but it’s coming.

Just think – one week from today your husband’s surgery will be history and he will be on the road to a pain-free knee.🤗🙏
