Thanks for the kind words and sentiment. This is not a bad surgery, but I know he is very nervous.

The Associate gave us some things to read yesterday and it was quite interesting. They will be doing a block that goes into the thigh area and the sensation of no pain will last 24 hours at least. I need to drop off a few things at the USPS and will make a stop at our pharmacy as well. I asked that everything be written out so I know what I’m doing and what goes first, etc.. `He will have some pain killers and I just hope he doesn’t become addicted to them. That could be worse than the surgery. I will keep everyone posted. Right now he is scheduled to be at the hospital at 7:45 am and he will be escorted to the outpatient area for surgery. As I said earlier, I will probably be one busy lady trying to whip the MB and bathroom into shape. Not sure how much will get accomplished. Just will be less to do the following day.

I’m happy that your BIL has returned home. Nothing like pacing your own floors, eating homemade food and being with friends and family. It must be very difficult and trying for your SIL. I remember the pain my mom was in with her gall bladder and it wasn’t pretty. I think hers had stones and gravel and back then they tried a diet first to put the gall bladder at rest. As it turned out, it worked and the surgery never happened. The diet wasn’t easy because all the food she loved now was a no no. Gradually, she was able to eat those things she missed, however, it was limited. My heart goes out to your SIL. She hasn’t had it easy the last few years. Hopefully, things will get better. Saying prayers and crossing fingers and toes.

Just read the story on MSN news about a tiny kitten lying by the side of the road. A kind man happened to be going down this particular road and saw the kitten. He got out of his vehicle and picked the kitty up. All of a sudden he was hoodwinked by 13 more kittens. He took all with him in his truck and will foster them until they find their forever homes. They are so cute. To think that one of them was smart enough to be in the road and then called the others out as well. Also loved the antics of one golden retriever who loved the water. Once in you could not get him out. Had to be on his terms. I hope you go into MSN news someday. Those stories are hilarious. And, we all need a good laugh every once in a while.

OMG! I love Top Gun and it is a great Movie. I saw the original one and I will see this one.
I hope you enjoy it because it will not put you to sleep. I wanted to fly planes in the Air Force
but my mom would not sign the papers I had to go to college. All I wanted to do was fly and see

We had a beaut of a thunderstorm in the wee hours of the morning. It lasted about two hours or more with torrential rain. The lightning was one after another and the thunder enough to shake the house and be loud. Not sure if the “man upstairs” was trying out some new acoustics. You didn’t have to be deaf to know what was going on. The vibrations were off the wall. We had more of the same just a few hours ago and now it is getting dark again. I cannot complain. We are in a drought situation so the more rain we can get the happier I will be.

The doctor’s office sent prescripts over to our pharmacy and they are now ready for pickup. I will do that tomorrow. While at Costco we filled the tank. It was only $.20 off the gas prices in town. I need to check Sam’s. Gas went up over $.10 in one day and I am now positive there are people gouging the system. Just read where a gas station in the Boston, Ma. area closed it’s gas station down as a protest. He will still do maintenance such as oil changes, spark plugs, etc.. He is hoping others will join him. Gas where I am is now $4.79/gal. High test is $1 more.

I am thinking seriously about returning home while hubby is in surgery. At our appointment yesterday, the assistant mentioned that either she or the surgeon will contact me at home. He won’t be out of recovery until after one or two in the afternoon, This way I can change the linens that day or the next morning if he is staying overnight. I am now back in the kitchen putting things away and filling the dishwasher. Oh, I purchased the Origami bookcase from HSN and finally it is all set to go. So easy to lock in place and best part, nothing to put together. I purchased a second one for the living room area. That one is still in the box and will be set up once Spectrum comes and goes. I am hoping I can contact them this week. I need to do the den next so they can get to the plugs. Living room is on the easy side since I did most of the moving Wednesday. Hubby was supposed to help, but fizzled out. He did manage to get the garbage out for Thursday. I will not go into how livid I was especially when the men came an hour early with the new items.

As far as returning to the North. That is now on the back burner. He will be under the orthopedist’s care for at least three months before that decision can be made. If we are able to travel, I may look at a flight and car rental. We will need to return to Florida before winter sets in. Maybe that is a good thing. It certainly will give us time to not only get the house in order but to relax on our lanai as well.

Good afternoon to you. Beautiful day but some storms tomorrow and hot and humid next week. BIL came home yesterday.🥰 The surgeon decided to let the gallbladder settle down and will take it out 2-3 weeks. Hope he stays stable until then.🙏

Visited mom and sis today. We are all going to see the new Top Gun movie on Tuesday.🛰 I am not a big Tom Cruise fan so I hope it is good or I will be sleeping.😴 I rarely go to a theater, I just wait until the movie is On Demand or get a DVD.

Not much else happening this weekend. Golf for hubs tomorrow⛳ but maybe not because of storms predicted.⛈ Will make a roast in the slow cooker since I won’t know what time he may be home. Been lovin’ those blue cocktails!💗
