Hi Sheba and everyone on this thread.

It is almost 10:45 am and I went with hubby to admitting and to the area for out patient surgery. I was given a blue sheet of paper that told me to call a certain extension when I reached that area, which I did. Within minutes someone came and escorted him to another location. A few minutes ago I received a call from his surgeon stating that the surgery has been postponed due to his incoherency. He thought he was in Ct.. The surgeon mentioned that they were sending him to neurology for tests. Well, just got off the phone with neurology and after many tests, ruled out a stroke. It could very well be a reaction to the post op medication which is the next step. He should be ready for discharge in a few hours. I’m now refraining from working in the bedroom. I didn’t get much sleep last night and will rest until I get the next call. I really feel he is in the best of hands. The staff at this hospital are fantastic and make you feel comfortable every step of the way.

Thank you, Mrs. Sheba! We are back in MD after a few trips to VA, starting on June 7th. We were running for 5 days straight! Ate way too much, too, but the seafood was de-lish!! Drinks, too!😉 Really enjoyed all your gifs & photos!

Please I know it will be hard to sleep tonight l never can sleep when I have important
procedures done. Oz will be hot all week that is for sure the A/C is on for the season.

Thanks for your post. I just hope I can work on our two night stands and the windows before doing the floors and making the bed with all the new things. Everything looks so beautiful in the wrappings. Cannot wait to see it in the room.

Looks like we will be in extreme heat this week. Please stay hydrated and take precautions while
working outside. Hope your new plants are doing well. Don’t overdo anything. And take it easy in this heat and humidity. A little at a time and the work will be done before you know it. Stay safe….

I am in the Master Bedroom as I type. Hubby’s side of the bed is a complete disaster. Things that were lost are now found. There is tons to go through and I had no idea it was this bad. My sinuses are having a field day and the cough is persistent. After midnight no food or drink for hubby. I will be with hubby through the surgical admission and will leave as he heads towards the surgical area. Visiting hours at this hospital is 9 am-7 pm. If he stays the night, there is probably no way for me to be with him because he is scheduled for an hour of physical therapy late afternoon that will probably determine whether he will come home or not. I picked up the prescripts from the pharmacy this afternoon. So that’s a load off my mind.

Thanks for the rose. I will post a short note tomorrow after the surgeon calls me. It will be a good time to take a break. I need to return to the mess. At least it will be one less thing to do tomorrow. Have a great evening. We have A/C throughout the house as well. It’s the North where I will suffer. But, then, there is usually a breeze and I can keep the windows opened without worrying about a gecko coming in.

I am positive that your next appointments will be a breeze. Then you can head towards Colorado. Finally!!!!! Florida will be in the mid 90s all week with 100% humidity that will make those temps feel over 100. No rain or showers expected this week. Guess all the rain will be for naught and we will have more drought conditions to contend with.
