So sorry to hear about your cousin and Diamond. So difficult to lose a pet especially when it is so unexpected. Hopefully, both are in a better place and maybe they crossed paths on their way to the next place.

Tonight’s Trivia was awesome in many ways. Thanks to xango we learned a bit about Juneteenth. I do not recall anyone mentioning this while I was a student in elementary and high school and in college. I did learn that it became a holiday under President Biden, June 17, 2021 marking the end of slavery. It looks like it is now a Federal Holiday celebrated on June 19th. And another thank you to maxienne who gave us more detail on this holiday. I would not be one iota surprised if this does not become a National holiday within the next few years.

I have not heard anything from the surgeon about another date for the surgery. I also do not know if hubby will again need to see the cardiologist since the Hospital recommends an up to date cardiologist and doctor’s report three months prior. June was three months though hubby did have an appointment about two weeks ago with our regular physician. Then again, he had a hospital EKG Monday along with other tests that could account for something. I do have another date on the sheet that was given to us last week for the next time he would have to see the Assistant to the Orthopedist. I will check with her next week if I do not hear from either of them. My husband remembers that the surgeon never left his side. Next time I will remain at the hospital. Will not listen to anyone about returning home.

We did not shop today. My fault. Had a coughing fit and a sinus problem. OK now. I think I will clean the bar area in the kitchen. I promised hubby we will shop tomorrow. He is looking forward to the ice cream. It’s one scoop. But that scoop is equivalent to three scoops. Besides I do need fresh fruit and some veggies.

Hope your hubby enjoyed his surprise with the lawn. On another note: You may want to walk Poppy on the grass instead of the sidewalk when it’s extremely hot. I do not think he will enjoy the shoes. Then, maybe, if you try it in the house, he may like them. Sidewalks and pavement due have a tendency to be extremely hot. Hope you both have a great weekend. Stay safe.
