Hello Sheba, How are you? Happy Father’s Day to your husband.
I didn’t realize its been a few days since I posted. I thought I had, there are times my tablet goes off line. Which does constantly through out, but I was sure I had checked back.
Well, the trip to Orlando was the entire day. It did take a lot out of me. I certainly felt it the next day. I went to several places, getting in and out of the car is not easy for me. The last stop was the grocery store Seabra. And of course I spent more time in there then I should have. But I enjoyed it, looking at everything. We took a large cooler, got ice there for all the meats, dairy and other cold items. We had our masks on all day, all the time. It was so hot, and hard to breathe. I only saw one family with masks on, the rest of the people no masks. Two of my friends got Covid right now, but they don’t wear masks went out and about. I can’t remember when was the last time I got a common cold or a seasonal flu. I know it was in Jacksonville and it had to be before 2009. My husband worked at the Naval Clinic in Mayport Naval Base. And during seasonal Flu season they had stations of masks for those who came into the clinic for flu illness. And I would grab some of the masks. And during the winter I would go the to grocery store or shops with a mask on. Specially if the news would have a certain area in the community that the Flu was higher. Husband retired in the beginning of 2010, and I had lots of masks.😁 Yesterday I made some Brazilian style sausage and eat it with Farofa. Don’t know if I had mentioned the sausages are made in Orlando by a family owned business. As always I got lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. And a special kind of bread made in Brazil that is made here. My favorite with my morning coffee.
