I wish I could send you some cool breezes, but it’s hot and humid here also. I’m hoping your sister has a safe flight both going and on the return. So nice that she is able to take those trips and to make new friends wherever she goes.

We are still waiting to hear from the surgeon. Not sure if there will be a phone call this week due to the 4th. Some physicians do close their offices during this holiday for a period of two weeks. I will keep everyone posted. Meanwhile, I will use the opportunity to clean and put things where they belong and to make a donation so there is no more clutter (at least this week).

My hands are great. It takes about a half hour or less for the swelling to subside. Cold water and the Benedryl works everytime. I always carry the pills with me wherever we go. I also know where to find them in a hurry when we are home. The main concern is to get the Benedryl down ASAP. Once I discovered the cause the rest was easy. I know I am making light of the sutuation, but if I didn’t all h-ll would break loose. The one thing I have learned is to keep my cool so it doesn’t do any damage.

It was very hot and humid today. Temps were 97 and of course the humidity was high. Weather people on Spectrum kept saying rain. We had the clouds. No lightning. No thunder. No rain. I was doing kitchen chores just a few minutes ago. Had to stop to do s few stretches for the back in order to relieve the pain. It works. But only lasts a few minutes. I also weeded around the croton plant. Looks good. tomorrow I will cut back the hibiscus almost to the root. Right now it looks straggly and cutting it back will tend to give it a fuller look. I’m hoping there will be brush pickup this week, but with the holiday on Monday, doubt it. After that one there are two more just like it. Never a dull moment here.

Well, back to KP. Have a great weekend. I hope Poppy didn’t have any problems with those shots. I’m sure the vet went over possible side affects. And the hair cut/trim this week will make him feel great and don’t be surprised if he’s a little show off.

Hope those shots help Poppy. Is the 4th a scary day for him? A few around here shoot off their illegal getting’s and the dogs have a hard time and also the fire risk is scary.

Been sick with a head cold, not Covid according to the tests.
Forced myself to walk but took it easy.

Good afternoon Sheba, happy Saturday to you and your husband. I hope you and your husband have a great 4th. Send some of that 72 degrees here😁. We are at 83 but it feels 89 and the humidity makes you tired. It has been cloudy all day long.
Yesterday we received the 75 inches TV, huge box. Husband and I were like the three stooges 😂😂 trying to place the TV in the room. I had rearranged the family room waiting for the TV.
So we pushed to bigger than both of us box there. Unboxed it, placed the feet on it. Tried lifting it up to the dresser we have in there too high and the TV too heavy. I couldn’t lift high enough. we took the TV we had in the TV/office room place that one which is 55 inches and not as heavy in the family room.
And push the 75inches one to the TV/office room. It still heavy but that TV stand was not as high as the dresser. It make it seem like a movie theater. Husband had a difficult time with tuning to the Spectrum remote. The Samsung remote that came with the TV is the tiniest little thing with extremely little information on it. I can’t see a man’s large hand trying to use it.
TV is quick beautiful lots of bells and whistles, more than what I might use right now.

Good afternoon to you. Another hot one today and pretty much for the next week.🔥 Went out with some friends yesterday to start the holiday and to mom’s today. Everything else is up in the air for the weekend.

So glad Poppy is well and going to the spa next week.🤗 You are fortunate that the fireworks do not bother him. I think all but one of my dogs always tried to hide and would shake. And we have a lot of neighborhood pops before, during and after the holiday.🧨 I would shut all the windows and blast the TV hoping it would help.

I hope you have some fun plans. Thanks for the drinks, they remind me of snow cones.🍧 Bartender’s choice all weekend!!🧉🍸🍷🍹🍺

shots he took it really well. I have him going in for some serious grooming in a few days.
The Vet wanted me to wait until all the meds is in him. Oodie it rained the entire time this
morning when I took him. I have had a busy day and I am still not finished projects to do. 😜

I am sure you will hear and perhaps see a lot of fireworks around your Lake. 😎
I am so glad fireworks do not bother Poppy. 😘I will be watching him all the same.
