Me thinks I am in the wrong area. Just read Xango’s post where it has been raining most of the day. All I remember seeing were dark clouds in the distance and racing to turn the computer and A/C off. I guess I fell asleep and hubby said I missed the thunder and lightning. However, sad to say, not one tiny raindrop. Everything was bone dry. Guess tomorrow I will do some watering. Hope no one is watching because our running the hose day is on Fridays.

Yesterday I weeded around our croton and today I pruned one hibiscus. I have two more to go. I think either Tuesday or Wednesday will be donation time. I have quite a number of items that someone will enjoy (I hope). At least this will release most of the clutter in the dining room and living room.

If you have a chance, please go to last week’s “America Got Talent.” There is a dance troupe from Lebanon that is so different from anything I have ever seen. They received a standing ovation from the judges as well as the audience. I think the group is called Maya. The one word that comes to mind is AMAZING. Google the show if you can.

Sheba, Love fireworks. It’s too crowded to drive and park somewhere these days. Sometimes I can see them from my front porch. At the last house we could set up chairs in the master bathroom and watch.
Hiked with my hubs today but still have a head cold. It’s mostly gone.

Glad Poppy isn’t bothered by the fireworks. Ann-Margret dancing is so classic. Glad your Mother enjoyed her day and got out and about.

Well, the sky started to darken and more clouds rolled in. Rushed to turn the computer off. Put my feet up and must have fallen asleep, because I missed the light show and never heard the thunder, but, when I looked outside nothing was wet. No puddles in the driveway. No rain on my plants. Guess tomorrow I will do a no no and water them a bit. I did do weeding around the croton and today I trimmed the hibiscus. I have another hibiscus that will need some trimming and also take down a tree that the birds planted. It could be a weed.

When I do the stretch exercise, I am standing. Bend from the waist and put both hands against a wall or car door. I move my feet outward and maintain the stance until the pain subsides or goes away entirely. Hubby does not like when I do this, but for me, it is helpful, and I can continue with what I was doing.

The fireworks have started from every corner imaginable. Right now, things are quiet. But tomorrow more of the same and will probably go until midnight. So much fun to watch either from our den or the lanai. Take care and enjoy the 4th.

Hubby already brought the Ribeye Steaks for grilling and he will do the cooking. 😘💕

I did look at your Leonard Cohen Video and I love every song he has sang I did leave
you a post about it. I have heard his wonderful music since childhood my parents loved
his music. I think Leonard in his day look somewhat like a young Al Pacino both men were
and are handsome. I know Leonard passed a few years ago. I still have his music to remember.
