That was some storm last night. It came up all of a sudden. Didn’t notice the lightning just a loud clash of thunder. The lights flickered but that was all it did, thank goodness. I do keep a flashlight nearby as well as candles. The rain was awesome and again much needed. Still not enough to rid the drought situation. But, as you know, every little bit helps.

This morning I was up before the crack of dawn to clear the lanai of things that should not have been in there in the first place. A lot of lifting. The heavier boxes I emptied piecemeal. Still, my back felt like someone was stabbing me. As it turned out, it was just as well as I got started when I did. The power washer was here before 8 am and all but two pieces of wood were left. I could not lift them. He was here for over 3 hours and the house never looked so good. I will try to do some weeding during the early hours beginning Monday. We have lawn stuff pick up on Wednesdays. Right now I have more than enough for that pickup, but still have two more plants on the side and the bushes in the front. Hubby’s back and knee have been very painful, so I have not asked for those extra pair of hands.

I am working on the Master bedroom and it is starting to take shape. I will give hubby the metal bookcase which has only three shelves, to be washed outside tomorrow. I will use this for the paperback books and it will be part of the reading area. Cannot wait for the boudoir chair to be delivered. So far no phone call on that one. Oh yes, the plastic bins from Costco are working well. Papers will now have their own place leaving the myriad of boxes behind. I will be tagging the boxes.

When I was working on the lanai this morning, the sky was cloudless. A beautiful shade of blue that I wish I could copy. There was also no humidity until just before the washer arrived. Once I was able to go inside, never stuck my head out the door. Have no idea how I was able to do everything on two hours of sleep. But, I more than made up for it by sleeping the afternoon away.

Well, now back to doing whatever. By the way, your thread today is one of the best I have read. Great work by a great master. I mean that sincerely. Hope all is well with you, hubby and Poppy. And on that note, I bet Poppy is prancing around showing his new do’s. Hope the lighter weight will make him feel cooler. Have a great evening and like Alexa says, “Talk to you tomorrow.”

The food was de-lish. They have great potato salad & watermelon crushes 🍉& margaritas!!🍹🥃🍸 Rainy today, so glad we went on Friday!

Good afternoon in Florida. How are you today? I hope you got rain. Oz have a low
humidity today and I am enjoying it. Hubby and I did go Bike Riding and the breeze
felt really good. 😎✨Mr. Poppy had a early grooming session and we worked on the
yards and flowers. One reason why I am doing the Thread so late most may not notice it. 😜

Trivia was fun last night I was busy in the Arcade playing as that is when I can rack up my tickets
I am going on four million tickets and I do this as time permits.

Hubby likes to do tricks on his bike he is very agile. I keep my foot on the pedal and just
