Hi from the ‘burgh. Hate to say this but we have a perfect day today.😊 Sunny, mid 80s and no humidity.😎 Hope we get a few more.

Sis called this afternoon, her flight from Chicago got cancelled so now she has to fly to Charlotte and then back here.😣 So her one hour, twenty minute flight is now about five hours. Don’t know how people that have to fly a lot for work are handling this mess.😫

Getting ready to grill steaks and cook mushrooms.🥩🍄 Thanks for the drinks, sis will be ready to have both when she finally gets here!🍹🍸

Your thread is beautiful, but last night was the best thus far. Before I retired, I gave a lecture that soon went on the road on stress management. These were people who received a pink slip from their employer and didn’t really know the reason behind it. The “storms” these people went through was like grieving a loss of a loved one. It took tons of research just to put the ideas into motion and something people could take with them and practice. In a sense, you are doing the same thing. Making people believe in themselves again is really a difficult process. However, holding their hand until they can see some light at the end of the tunnel is the most rewarding aspect and brings an everlasting smile to that journey.

It is really hot and humid in Florida also. All I did thus far was stick my head out the front door and made a quick decision not to go that route. Like you, I would guess that the heat index is somewhere between 105 and 110 degrees. I will remain inside behind closed doors with the fans for now. The house is in the mid 80s and for a person born in a blizzard, this is hot hot hot.

I am thinking of my father, Aunts and BIL who all passed this time of year and it’s only
one year for my beloved Aunts and BIL. Still I carry on I will keep them always in my heart. 💕

I think everyone goes through feelings and challenges when they lose loved ones.

Oodie be careful lifting. Keep it cool in the house we are pushing well into the 90’s.
The head index will be 105 degrees. Yikes!
