Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thank you for thinking about Charlie you know I will miss him I pray he has a lot of time. ✨
Charlie always looks at me strange when he leaves it’s like he hates to say goodbye. I linger
a little longer and watch him as he disappears into his doorway. ✨✨Hey what about Tuna like a nice casserole I love that. Hubby will let you know what he wants
as for me I will be cooking and is not a big thing. Well for hubby it is my husband is missing
a lot of family members. Here is to a nice evening. 🌹
-
Right you are. ✨ When I walked Charlie home yesterday his owners told me they just
found out on Friday. I had noticed him sleeping a lot and drinking a lot of water even
when it was cold. I told this to my husband. I now know why he drinks a lot of water.I am getting some of his food from his owners so when he visits I can give him the
right food. The owners who are friends of mine said he has more energy and is acting
like his ole self. I noticed that too. Amazing in just a few days what the right medicine can
do for a cat. 💕 -
Peace Out Peeps enjoy your evening. 🌹✨

I did read your note to Charlie and to me about Charlie. What I do not understand is why they didn’t give you this info a long time ago. Drinking alot of water is definitely one of the symptoms. So, beside terminal cancer he has other problems and from what I can decipher he gets two insulin shots per day but then he can eat anything????. I am really surprised that this wasn’t shared previously. Seems in some ways they are out to get Charlie. Sorry, something doesn’t add up here. Maybe that is one of the reasons why I suggested you take Charlie to your vet for an answer. Seems there is more going on than meets the eye.
I had my eye doctor appointment this afternoon. I will need new glasses, but the good news is that the cataracts have stayed the same. It’s between a 1 & 4, Wonder if it has something to do with Andrew’s Vitamins for the eyes.
Following my appointment we went to Costco. The traffic on the interstate was bumper to bumper heading North. So thankful that we had only two miles before the Costco exit. Can you imagine what it would be like if we were heading to our other home????? Probably would have turned off at the next exit and head South at the Interstate to return home. and cancel our reservations. Anyway, I am now all set on the gifts for our neighbor and the hairdresser. They had some beautiful floral arrangement as well in a pretty red vase. But for those of you who really have a sweet tooth, I picked up a box of something called Chocolate Dreams that is made in Italy. I jam now having one. And my taste buds are going crazy. There are six to a package for $10..99. And it comes in 6 flute glasses that you can use over and over again for wine, parfaits, mousse, champagne. The usage is endless. What a nice treat for yourself after a long day of shopping, cooking or other stuff in preparing for Hanukkah and Christmas. It would also be so festive for bringing in the New Year. They also have Tiramasu . Again, there are six in real glass. Again, the use is endless. These were found as an end cap near the cheese section.l
Of course we had the hotdog before leaving. Delicious and the seat so needed. When we arrived at Costco we had a bit of a drizzle. Yet the drops on the windshield sounded like a good case of freezing rain. The temp was in the 70s. When we left the rain was now a deluge. We were both soaked before we left the parking lot. But what a surprise to find that gas is now below $3/gal. Happy travels. Please stay safe.

Hi @sheba2011. Thank you for the Christmas wishes.🤶🎄🎅🙏🙌
I just wanted to add my two cents concerning Charlie the cat. I’ve had 2 diabetic cats. It’s important that they get their insulin injections every 12 hours exactly whenever possible. Also – Charlie is probably on prescription canned food & isn’t supposed to have other canned food that is not sugar free. Just a bit of FYI. (I’m around diabetic cats & people every day.)

Hello Sheba, As I write this, I am keeping an eye out for groceries delivery.
I hope you are feeling good today and full 9f the festive season. I imagine your home cosy, warm with your fireplace going. One more appointment yeah! And you are done👏👏👏👏. As I started reading about Charlie I started to get teared eyes. I know myself, I will most likely cry when he will no more be on this Earth. He sounds so full of life, a cat that enjoys being indoors and outdoors playing and doing his thing🐈🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛.
That was very nice of you, taking him home in your arms, making sure he got home safe and warm.
I am thinking about making seafood for Christmas Eve. I am not sure what hubby will want for Christmas Day. He doesn’t eat red meat, and sometimes getting him to eat chicken is twisting his arm. Going to think on that🤔😄.
Take care Sheba 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 -
Good afternoon my friend. Very nice day in the ‘burgh but it’s the calm before the storm. Oz is getting hit on Thursday and we will get it Friday into Saturday. Drastically dropping temps from the 40’s to the teens, rain freezing with snow on top, 25-30 mph winds. Sounds lovely.🥶❄😫
Good luck with the eye appointment, my husband was just there this morning.👀 The end for you!👏 I still have the mam first week of January.
I will say a prayer for Charlie. Your kindness to him warms my heart.💗 You win the award for best fur baby mama. Second best fur baby mama is sending hugs and kisses through the snow to you and Poppy.🤗🥰 Love to all!

Dealing with Disappointment
The gift of disappointment is to bring us into reality so we don’t get stuck in the realm of how things might have been.
Whenever we do something in life with an expectation of how we’d like it to turn out, we risk experiencing disappointment. When things don’t go the way we had envisioned, we may feel a range of emotions from slightly let down to depressed or even angry. We might direct our feelings inward toward ourselves, or outward toward other people or the universe in general. Whether we feel disappointed by ourselves, a friend, or life in general, disappointment is always a tough feeling to experience. Still, it is a natural part of life, and there are many ways of dealing with it when we find ourselves in its presence.
As with any feeling, disappointment has come to us for a reason, and we don’t need to fear acknowledging it or feeling it. The more we are able to accept how we are feeling and process it, the sooner we will move into new emotional territory. As we sit down to allow ourselves to feel our disappointment, we might want to write about the experience of being disappointed—the situation that preceded it, what we were hoping would happen, and what did happen. The gift of disappointment is its ability to bring us into alignment with reality so that we don’t get stuck for too long in the realm of how things might have been.
As we consider other disappointments in our life and how we have moved past them, we may even see that in some cases what happened was actually better in the long run than what we had wanted to happen. Disappointment often leaves us feeling deflated with its message that things don’t always turn out the way we want. The beauty of disappointment, though, is that it provides us a bridge to its other side where the acceptance of reality, wisdom, and the energy to begin again can be found. AMEN! 🌹✨✨

Just wanted to let you know Charlie has diabetes and takes two insulin shots a day.
This is very new information. I wrote to Xango about it take a look because I went into
details. I think we have an understanding about Charlie. ✨❤ I wanted to walk with him
in my arms he feels so good. 😘❤Let me know how your husband is doing and good luck shopping. I did an order from
Sam’s Sunday Night and it came today by FedEx I have to say that was super quick. 😜I have a lot going on so take your time and do your shopping and I pray your husband is
not in any pain. 🌹Happy Hanukkah Oodie to you and your family. 🌹💕

Good afternoon in Florida how are you doing today? OZ is a busy place today. 😜
I wanted to share something with you and the girls. Charlie came for a visit yesterday
he was wet and cold I got him all warm and dry feed him and he went to his chair
on the indoor patio and I made sure he some sunlight. ✨✨We all know Charlie has terminal cancer I decided to just walk to the neighbors house
remember they are directly behind me only a fence separates our property. I did not
want to put him over the fence because I was not sure he would go straight into the
house I felt like walking so I held him in my arms gently and took him home. I have nerves
of steel when I feel something is not right I almost lost it but kept my cool. 😎 Charlies
parents were grateful I brought him home and I let them know he was wet and cold when
he came to me that is when the father said Charlie is a diabetic and takes two insulin
shots a day they just found out so they were happy he was home. Something I noticed
I always put a big bowl of water by Charlie’s Cat Food in my house and he drinks a lot of water
I found that interesting now I know why the Diabetes.I may go back around and go inside to talk to them about Charlie. Oh, they also have two
very large Doberman dogs when they see me they stop barking. I have been inside their
home many times and they tell me the dogs never like people but they will come and sit
by me. Hmmm…😎😎I did not mean for this to get long I just had to share what I found out Charlie will always come
to me like he has for nearly eleven years and that is when they brought him home. 🌹❤Xango you food was yummy yesterday. I have an eye appointment tomorrow and no more
doctors until next year that is my Christmas present bare none. 😜😘😎✨ -
Enjoy the Season with your family. 🌹✨
