Hello Oodie, I hope you had a great Saturday. Yesterday Spectrum lost WiFi here, and I though you also had no WiFi. I am glad it came back in time for Trivia. And that you too made it back in time from Aldi’s. I also enjoy going to Aldi, it’s good place to shop and I do like their chocolates.

Good evening still hot in OZ. ✨😎I thought Trivia was great last night. I play in the
Arcade when we are doing Trivia and I try to answer if the game is over that I may be
playing. I love MzKatz she has a great sense of humor. I wish Samiangal would come back.

So good to see you last night in Trivia. Hope you were able to be with us in community without the hassle you mentioned. I did post something after the initial opening that may or may not help. It was just something I had problems with and finally figured it out by trial and error.

Following Trivia, we had a downpour that lasted about an hour. We received some much needed rain. Tonight the clouds are dark gray and so far nothing. Not even a streak of lightning or the boom of thunder. It looks like it is going North. But Alexa is still saying a 73% chance.

I did venture to Aldi’s about 6 pm. The store was packed and the lines were almost around the store. They had only one cashier and another person filling the empty shelves. I imagine some of the help either quit or were on vacation. Anyway, yes, I did pick up ice cream and Almond chocolate milk. I was in line for about 20 minutes and rushed home to put everything away. I wish there was a way to sign in and post the trivia game earlier and then let it sit somewhere until game time. For now, that cannot be done. Guess it will be wishful thinking on my part.

Anyway, hope all is well with you. Enjoy the weekend and get some much needed rest.

The sky is very dark, but, no rain as yet. I did move the metal planter to the side of the house so the plants can enjoy the raindrops when and if it comes. After saying goodnight to all I did go out and watered the cacti. Their soil was really dry. This evening, the spoonbill was in front of our kitchen window and the lanai. He spent over an hour looking at the lake and pruning himself. This bird was a beautiful shade of pink, almost a rose color. Not the same bird we have previously seen. this one was much smaller. I do have shrimp in the freezer and will feed him next time.

I was hoping to get to Costco today but both of us decided to take a nap instead. May attempt that trip tomorrow, though Sam’s Club is a lot closer and their gas in one cent cheaper.

I made a mad dash to Aldi’s before game time. Left around 6 pm. I needed a few items and just before going to check out took a look at their ice cream. I also purchased a package of pluouts and blueberries. the blueberries are awesome. The pluouts, not quite ripe. Will visit the Farmer’s Market on Monday. Then again, may go to Costco. Not sure which one since both are needed.

I am now reading “Where the Crawdads Sing.” Great story and now a movie. I definitely recommend the book.

Last night was a great game and we did have a good crowd. Surprised to see that before every game in the Arcade and after you play a game there is a 30-60 second Ad. I do play other games where there are Ads. Only those Ads come at the beginning and then you can play without an interruption. I am not sure how this will play out with HSN’s customers. From what I have been reading, they are losing some.

We had a ball yesterday! Great food and lots of talking and laughing about family and friends.😊 We need to pick at least one day a month to get together. We did this before the pandemic shut everything down. These are the same friends we always traveled with so we are very close.💕

I am dragging today from the late night.😕 Went to visit mom and sis and all is well. We are cloudy today and a little cooler so I have windows and doors open. Humidity starts back up tomorrow and around 90 most of the week.🔥
