Conversation – 17

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thank you for the heads up that is so considerate for you to do and you did not have to
do it. Like most who post here some just leave and don’t say word. I don’t mind so much
except it leaves me worry if they are alright. ✨I think the word I am searching for is
this thread have been ghosted. LOL! That means some people leave without closure
to the thread.Taci I will still post to you because you have been with me since the beginning and I value
your friendship and I like how you question things. ✨😘😎I am doing alright and thank you for asking. Thank you for thinking of my father as you know
passed just two days after my birthday so I am a little bittersweet. I was there the day my
dad went to heaven he did wait until I left to leave just around 2-3 hours it was late at night.I went to his cemetery and the same Butterfly that greeted me was in my backyard a few
minutes when I was out with Poppy. In these cases people can believe what they want. I
know the Butterfly 🦋 is a part of my father and I love it. 💕🌹Taci I also want to say Happy Birthday to you today. 😘🌹I do not like to pry but if you are not
posting for a while I respect that if you are going through something I will be here when you
get back take your time. Oh, Taci I miss you already. ✨🌹
Taci I know you are low key on your birthday but I will do a little Gallery for your birthday
upstream. I love you. 😘🌹 -

Sheba, thinking of you and your Dad’s passing.
Hope you are doing alright.
I will not be posting much over the next few months. Just an fyi.
It’s been hot here but it’s going pretty good. This is a milestone birthday for me and scary.
Your day is just around the corner, and I will be back to wish you a very happy birthday and no pleading the 5th! -
Xango, thinking of you and hope everything goes quickly and smoothly tomorrow.

So sorry to hear Kira passed. Not easy losing a pet who in some ways has become your child. May the kitty rip and may your daughter begin smiling again as time is a great healer.
Thank you for the suggestion of a bed rail. Looking into it. I was hoping for a test for Parkinsons. The neurologist claims falling out of bed is not a symtom nor is anxiety. Said he never heard of such a thing. Just wish he would do a brain scan just to reassure me. Oh well.
Saw your recent post in Trivia. Hope the gifs work for you. You are in good hands with FBN.

Great minds think alike. I was up early this morning and needed to make a few phone calls. One was to the surgeon’s office and the other to make a hair appointment. I had called Saturday, but the salon must have closed early, I ended up leaving a message. Anyway, I had just picked the phone up to contact the surgeon’s office when it rang. It was the hospital and they needed to update their records from June. Then she answered mine stating I could arrive anytime. They were also going to do the lab work for the neurologist. Our next appointment is next week for the surgery. This time I will stay and since there are many places to wait, will inform the nurses where I would be. Not sure if I will read or do a jigsaw on Kindle. So will have both. Hubby will be in the hospital for one or two nights. Physical therapy begins the day of surgery. Guess I will need to do another measurement of the steps leading into the house. I am hoping to set up the Lanai over the weekend. If not, it’s something to do Monday on my return from the hospital.
Wanted to stop at the Farmer’s Market and Aldi’s, but hubby was too tired. So went home instead. Just as well. I started working on the frig and needed to wait 20 minutes, so decided to do a jigsaw on Kindle. Must have fallen asleep for an hour or so. The frig looks great. No heavy scrubbing needed. Sunglasses would help (LOL)…..
That’s everything in a nutshell. Have a great walk with Poppy. Enjoy the warmth of the evening. Soon you will be saying how cold it is……Have a great evening. Smile often. Frowning not good. It uses too many muscles.

I just saw your post. It’s almost 9:30 p m. I used some thing new to clean the front of the refrigerator and left the area what was supposed to be 20 minutes. . Decided to return to my Kindle and a jigsaw puzzle and must have fallen asleep. Woke up about a half hour ago.
Things went OK at the hospital. Hubby is now off all vitamins and will take only his prescription drugs until after the surgery. The day following surgery he can return to taking the vitamins along with two aspirins per day for a period of 4 wks. The surgeon and his other physicians will monitor him closely during that period.
Following the hospital tests we decided to return home. I have a hair appointment tomorrow and will stop at Aldi’s on the return since I pass it anyway. Between Wednesday and Friday will try to get to Costco to pick up a few items and top the gas tank so I won’t have to think about it next week.
At the moment I am also looking for a new neurologist. I am not happy with the one that was recommended by the surgeon. This one thinks he has all the answers and whatever you think is absolutely incorrect. Parkinsons means that you have shakes and since hubby doesn’t have that particular symptom, no need to worry. I just want to be sure in my own mind. And since he is having blood tests and will have an MRI sometime after surgery, why not add that as well. It would ease my mind. Anyway, I will see what happens down the road. Actually, a second opinion would not hurt.
Tomorrow is your day. I wish you both well. I am hoping that this was caught early enough so that the decision would be the lesser of everything. As for you, I now realize why you cannot drive your hubby’s vehicle. Thank you for sharing. A great many things become almost impossible as we start aging. This is one reason I am not a couch potato. Yes, I have a back problem and the seat at the computer is very helpful. I usually sit until the pain subsides and then get up and continue from where I left off. The front of the frig looks wonderful. And the oven will have to wait until we get a day with low temps and no humidity. I have a feeling that the oven will wait unless we are still here during the winter months. Hubby misses our home on the Cape and I have a feeling that we will be heading North as soon as he is given the OK. I surmise if that is the case I will pick up a snow shovel or a plow on route since we donated ours before returning to Florida almost three years ago. Not sure if my body is ready for single digits again……LOL
Sending hugs and kisses your way. Just be well. Take a good book or a magazine with you. The process and the reading will take a while. You may also want to pack a snack and do not forget to bring bottled water or a beverage. Please try to stay hydrated. By the way, Amazon has summer hats that also keep the UV rays from hitting your face. It only keeps you cool, but keeps you safe. I have one and it works.
Again, good luck tomorrow.. Take care. Stay safe.
