My hair came out real good. This person is awesome. I thought she would be away for the holidays and when I sent her an e-mail just said whenever it is convenient. No hurry. I was shocked with today’s appointment, though she also had an opening the same time as my eye doctor appointment on Tuesday.

Yesterday I brought my car into Firestone which is just around the corner from us. I made the arrangement on line and picked a time. I was able to mention that I wasn’t sure if the problem was a tire or something more sinister. When I arrived, the gentleman behind the counter asked some questions and took the keys. A few minutes later I saw our vehicle enter the garage and the mechanic checking under the hood. Next thing I saw was the car on the lift. The mechanic did some troubleshooting and the entire problem was the tire which was replaced. They put air in the tires and I was able to return home within an hour and twenty-five minutes. And, yes, hubby was with me. I am now off to do the kitchen chores. Hope you have a great evening. sitting by the fire with your kids. I am cool I am in Trivia I am just playing in the Arcade. In my life it’s mind over matter if I don’t
mind it don’t matter. 😎

We are frozen here in OZ and I talked to my stepmom in fact she reached out to me
her sister is here from New York and they are going to our family Condo in Orlando.

A lot of people don’t have power here so we are all staying put. I am so happy the
kids are here and the other two will be here for another holiday or time.

When I left for the hair appointment, the sun was shining and the morning felt warm and inviting. The temp was at the lower end of 70. When I returned to the car, the wind picked up and we were in the midst of a downpour. As of now, I have covered the plants. It is still quite windy and the temp is cold. Tomorrow we will be lucky to see 60 and what a great day it will be to redo the bed. Tomorrow I will put the bed frame together and will see how that will work for hubby. He isn’t falling that much now, but when he does, well, it’s not very graceful. It’s like a belly flop in a pool of water that can be heard for……..

I brought a tin of cookies to the shop. I was very surprised to see a huge buffet set up for everyone. Fruits, nuts, cakes, pastry, meatballs, chicken, and the list goes on and on. Thankfully, it was too early for me to look at food since the pills I take first thing prohibits eating for at least an hour. It felt good to relax.

Really great to see your kids arrive for the holiday and hubby is there to enjoy through Monday.
Great way to celebrate. Hope your stepmom can join you if she is able to get out. Well, I don’t want to keep you, so will say good night and return to Trivia.

We are -3, -28 wind chill.🥶 Very little snow but ice underneath. Sounds like Oz. No power outage yet but mom’s went out three different times. Glad your husband can thaw the pipes. Have to watch mine in our garage, it’s happened before. We de-iced with a blow dryer. Forecast for New Year’s eve is in the 50’s, that will feel like summer after this weekend.😊

I finished all the Panettones last night, they rested upside down all night. Today I wrapped them tide them with ribbons and hubby delivered them for me. They came out much tastier this time.

Are You Excited or Scared?

Sometimes the feelings of being scared and excited can elicit the same physical response in our bodies.

When new challenges and opportunities show up in our lives, we may diagnose ourselves as feeling scared when what we really feel is excited. Often we have not been taught how to welcome the thrill of a new opportunity, and so we opt to back off, indulging our anxiety instead of awakening our courage. One way to inspire ourselves to embrace the opportunities that come our way is to look more deeply into our feelings and see that butterflies in our stomach or a rapidly beating heart are not necessarily a sign that we are afraid. Those very same feelings can be translated as excitement, curiosity, passion, and even love.

There is nothing wrong with being afraid as long as we do not let it stop us from doing the things that excite us. Most of us assume that brave people are fearless, but the truth is that they are simply more comfortable with fear because they face it on a regular basis. The more we do this, the more we feel excitement in the face of challenges rather than anxiety. The more we cultivate our ability to move forward instead of backing off, the more we trust ourselves to be able to handle the new opportunity, whether it’s a new job, an exciting move, or a relationship. When we feel our fear, we can remind ourselves that maybe we are actually just excited. We can assure ourselves that this opportunity has come our way because we are meant to take it.

Framing things just a little differently can dramatically shift our mental state from one of resistance to one of openness. We can practice this new way of seeing things by saying aloud: I am really excited about this job interview. I am really looking forward to going on a date with this amazing person. I am excited to have the opportunity to do something I have never done before. As we do this, we will feel our energy shift from fear, which paralyzes, to excitement, which empowers us to direct all that energy in the service of moving forward, growing, and learning. AMEN! ✨✨🌹

Good afternoon in the ‘burgh. 😘🌹Oz is frozen we have some sun but that will go away
in about an hour.

We have two of our children that made it home from Georgia it was not easy and I am
so grateful they made it home safe. 💕😘

The air and roads are a mess.

Good day on the Gulf Coast. 😎😘Well the pipes are frozen in parts of our house.
Thank goodness hubby is off until Tuesday. Hubby knows how to get the pipes warm.
We were in the minus for almost three days and it does a toll on your pipes in these parts.

I am thanking the good lord we have power because thousands around us do not have
power and I am keeping track.

Oodie two of our kids made in on a frozen night and they rented a car from the airport
and drove home like always. 😜😜I am happy to have of my kids home the other two had
cancelation and with what I am seeing I don’t want my kids on the airport floors for days.

My SIL and Niece were stuck on a plane in Colorado at 2:00 a.m. and they had to get
a Uber home niece said it was a mess.

Oz is still frozen. I am glad all that was wrong was you needed a new tire. YAY! Go Oodie. 🌹
Poppy is excited seeing the rest of the family. 💕💕I will be walking around the corner to
see Charlie tonight or tomorrow I want to see him with my own eyes and I will take a picture
of him. ✨😘😜 I also have a gift for him. Busy day here in Oz see ya later in Trivia. 😎

Good afternoon in Florida sweet friend. 😘✨😎Busy day for all ofus.

Oz is frozen two of our kids made it home for Christmas so I have been out and about
and now the kids are doing their thing. 😎✨Hubby is off until Tuesday so I have a full
house. The other two kids will facetime they could not get out due to weather and cancelation
just having some of my kids home is fine for me. Missing my dad this year. 😘💕🌹
