Hi been home all day. Very hot and muggy here. No air. Xango may have had some rain since it all went towards Tampa.

Hubby has been asking for Winter Melon Soup. So I made it today. It takes about an hour for the ingredients to cook through. This time I used pork and added carrots, brussel sprouts, cauliflower and Ramen noodles. Since we haven’t been to the Oriental Market, I used honeydew melon which I cut into quarters. I add the honeydew at the very end and when it becomes opaque, everything is done. The ramen noodles is from Costco and is in it’s own orange package. Comes 12 to a package and if I’m not mistaken, it is Organic. Sells for $9.95. No need to add salt, pepper or sugar to the mix since the veggies, if fresh, have a sweetness all to it’s own. Actually, the sugar is already in the honeydew. It comes out different every time I make it. Hubby is now in his glory.

We decided not to go out today. Instead wanted to get ahead on the cleaning. I started cleaning the kitchen sink and when turning the faucet on, felt a sting. Didn’t think anything of it. Just thought it was a nail from the faucet, but looked at the kitchen window and saw a wasp. Had to make a dash to the MB and asked hubby for the Benedryl. Took two pills and watched the finger swell and felt the throat closing. But as fast as it started, the Benedry did it’s part. I’m Ok.

I just saw your post from a week ago on the Essential 1 vitamins. Funny you should ask if my physician knows. He does. Our physician in Florida is relatively new to us. From day one when I mentioned that I take vitamins he made me bring all the bottles with me to the next appointment. He made note of all ingredients and how much of each. He could not get over what Andrew actually does to each capsule. Loved everything. Before ordering something new from Andrew I check other places to compare what he gives us. I found out there is no comparison. I have a new physician in the wings when we return to Ct., since during Covid ours retired. I surmise he will be asking the same questions. Also, I keep my vitamins in a plastic case that is marked with the days of the week and has a slot for am and pm which I purchased at the dollar store.

I did notice that a few are complaining about a smell in the Essential 1. Like you, I haven;t noticed any changes except in the color of the capsule which is almost the same color as others I take. I do notice a wine odor in Reservatol and also the Immune Factor. When there is a problem with his product, you can always contact his customer service.

I hope you are getting some well needed rest and eating something. You need to build your strength up and keep it going. I definitely feel that a home health aide would help with the meals and also some light cleaning. This would give you some time to yourself which you can use. I know most of your food choices are delivered . You can add Aldi’s to that list. Your health insurance should be able to cover the nurse, physical therapist and home health aide. The social worker at the hospital will help with these.

I should be hearing from the surgeon’s assistant tomorrow on the date for surgery and probably staying over the night prior to surgery. This will be very interesting.

I think I mentioned that I use an erasable board that goes on my frig. It has the days and dates imprinted, so all I need to do is print the month above and fill in doctor appointments, physical therapy, etc. etc.. I bought mine through Amazon as well as extra pens that came with a magnetic back. The pens I purchased last a long time. I am still using the first one. It was delivered in less than a day. The pens are not magnetized. I still have that info if you need it.

Happy Sunday to you. Husband just came home from the golf trip – boy, that went fast. Thoroughly enjoyed my four days!😊 Mom and sis doing fine. Spent part of the day yesterday with them.💕

I hope your weather cools, it has been a perfect weekend and this week will be in the 70s. Had enough of this hot, humid stuff for a while.😝 I’m sure I’ll regret saying that when December comes.
