Heidi Daus has been a staple here ever since I started watching HSN and as my jewelry styles and tastes evolved over the years.
I wore a pair of her earrings (bought here on HSN) on my trip and would love to see her back and in action. It’s surprising that she isn’t on as much as she used to be. Her website is good but I like to read reviews.

Glad your kids are safe and back home. Georgia sounds nice. It is on my list of places to visit.

It looked like rain was about to drop all afternoon but I still hiked on my own. Felt one drop at one point but no rain. Andrew wasn’t there. Like what’s the deal? I should have seen him by now!

In my pj’s since 5pm for the 1st time in a long time.
My 2 packages from an early Dec order never arrived. They must be stuck in some bad weather area’s. It ok not need to hurry.

A belated Merry to you. I hope you had a great Christmas and everything came together for you. I do know you missed your mom and that situation will not change in the years ahead. Both my parents are gone and it’s been over twenty years. But, I must admit, it becomes easier to bear. Keep those memories intact and for a bit it will be like they are right there with you.

I do miss seeing Heidi and now wonder if she is returning since there has not been a new item in over a month. Of course, that keeps my credit card intact. But still and all I miss her vibrance and her catchy smile. I did purchase a brooch with 50% off from her web page. Hopefully, she will be ret urning in January or February.

Good evening. I’m in the process of making Winter Melon Soup., though it’s a bit warmer today. I think our temps are in the 50s with the lows being in the 40s. I still have my plants covered and will keep them that way until the temps at night are 50 or higher.

Hubby was in some pain today and was not in the mood to deal with the traffic so cancelled our appointment with the insurance company. Meanwhile, I started working on the clutter in the dining area since hubby was in bed all day. I also missed garbage pickup today. Never in my mind did I ever think that they would work the day after Christmas. WRONG!!!!! The pickup will be the same day next week. I surmise that Thursday will be our regular pickup for recycle and garbage. Monday and Thursday are our regular days and Wednesday for cutting back trees, shrubs, bushes and the ever lasting weeds.

Yes, the back aches and standing in one spot can be a problem. But, I do try to do what I can before I eventually have to take some time to get off the feet. Sinus is also a problem, but the pills help and the cough is almost non existent.

So glad that Charlie is back to his old sweet self. And also happy that his parents are keeping him indoors because of the weather. Also happy that your children made it back to Georgia, but sad that the time with them ended all too soon. Back to the quiet household, but at the same time you are probably exhausted, so this in a sense is your time to sit, relax, pick up the book you started and sit by the fire. On that note, I wish you a good night. And as Alexa would say, “talk to you tomorrow.”
