(I just wanted to mention that I try to post a message in this thread about every day and most of the time it will not load or it will say I’m signed in when I’m not and it won’t post what I write. Maybe it takes so long to load because it’s so large now? I’m trying this again for the third time & if it doesn’t post, I give up.)

Sheba, always thinning out my stuff these days. I have two places to donate newer nicer items.
Will still maintain, update as needed but the items that haven’t been used in the year tend to go.

Sheba, this place…it’s really something to see. We spent the day and you could spend a week or more with all there is to see.

I am starting the New Year off right with a clean and neat house. I mean no extras here and there.

First please let me know how your husband is doing and you. I hope you get an appointment
and soon. Well after that it’s the insurance papers. Oodie you have your hands full.

Guess what in my area they did not pick up trash or recycling because of the weather they
wanted to clear the streets. So the City has said they will pick up this coming Friday not
tomorrow which is our usual day. WE can put out 14 bags that is music to my ears I am
collecting all kinds of stuff. 😜😎Hubby and I will have those bags out by 7:00 a.m.

We have a long New Year’s Day Weekend I want to enjoy it and getting rid of stuff makes
me feel good. I am also going to take some things and donate them to a good place not
far from me. This time of year people need things.

Oodie be careful taking the things to the curb if it is raining.

I think I will be able to remove the plant covering this evening. Temps will be in the mid 50s tonight and tomorrow afternoon in the 70s. We are war,omg up gradually. Weekend is fog and rain. We could use more than a few drops.

Well, guess you had some good company yesterday with Charlie. So nice that the weather warmed enough for him to stop by and say hello. Always nice to have a bit of company, especially when it’s furry and loves to cuddle.

I picked up a couple of European chocolate tins. One I kept for ourselfves and they are really good. I read some of the reviews and was scared to purchase, but surmise that the Costco employees read them and made a complete change. They were good, or rather are good. However, the chocolate candy looks out of this world. And, yes, I do have a sweet tooth.

I didn’t go to the Farmer’s Market because hubby wasn’t well. I will be contacting our physician tomorrow to an appointment for both of us. I will also contact the Insurance Company to make an appointment and to go over a few things So far, this has not been a good week for hubby and I’m concerned with his backache and I hope it isn’t serious.

I also took advantage of Heidi’s sale and bought one item. Hope she is having a great time in Paris. Christmas is a good time to be there, especially when you know where to go and you know the language. I also hope that the news she received a few months ago is doing better. I wished she had shared some part of it with her customers. We are an understanding bunch, as you are aware of.

Yes, I made the Winter Melon Soup yesterday and it was delicious. Instead of using Winter Melon I used Honey Dew. This has a better flavor though the same consistency. However, this time I added tons of veggies towards the end. The pot was real sweet.

Tomorrow is garbage pickup and I also think it’s recycle time as well. I will be up early to get ever ything out in time. Probably will check to see if the neighbors have their blue containers out as well.

Hello Sheba, and Happy New Year’s Week.
It’s wonderful when one can go home and have moms cooking, mom’s always cooks some good food. I bet your kids were having a wonderful time.
Maybe the ones that didn’t make it up there, can go for Easter.
Those chocolates looks so delicious, I could go right through the screen😄😋
Funny thing, I didn’t know. One of my niece in Brazil received a box of Belgium Chocolates I had ordered for Christmas but it was late due to Brazil stops for the holidays and so does the mail.
I read both your posts, yesterday and today. I forgot to go back and post yesterday.
How is Charlie doing? I did make a huge pot of my chicken soup for the cold days we were having. Today I baked French bread, it goes good with soup.
