Conversation – 17

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

“Beyond The Sea”Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waitin’ for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailin’Somewhere beyond the sea
She’s there watchin’ for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to her arms, I’d go sailin’It’s far beyond a star
It’s near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soonWe’ll meet beyond the shore
We’ll kiss just as before
Happy we’ll be beyond the sea
And never again I’ll go sailin’I know beyond a doubt, ah!
My heart will lead me there soonWe’ll meet, I know we’ll meet beyond the shore
We’ll kiss just as before
Happy we’ll be beyond the sea
And never again I’ll go sailin’No more sailin’
So long, sailin’
Bye bye, sailin’
Move on out, captain
So long… -

Hello Sheba, it’s Friday , I hope you are having a good day. It’s the middle of September already. Soon your favorite season will be upon us.
I am glad your husband was able to achieve a better quality of life after the procedure he had. Thank you for the prayers and all the well wishes you and many others have done. I am also happy to see Oodiebom’s good news.
Well as I write this, there’s a storm outside lots of rain and wind.
Tonight will be leftovers for dinner, I’ll cook tomorrow. However not sure yet what.
Take care Sheba and have a awesome weekend.
See you at Trivia tonight.

Letting Life Unfold
Life unfolds as it will, and the universe will wait patiently as we make our way into the unknown.
Our lives are guided by natural rhythms that are particular to each of us and cannot be altered by force of will alone. Life itself is a journey made up of processes and events that manifest before us only to be swept away when time marches on. Whether we envision ourselves creating a career, building a family, or developing the self, we instinctively know when the time has come for us to realize our dreams because all that is involved comes together harmoniously. When the time is right, the passage of destiny cannot be blocked. Yet as desperate as we are to touch these beautiful futures we have imagined, we cannot grow if we are not fully present in the evolutionary experience. The present can be challenging, uncomfortable, and tedious, but life unfolds as it will, and the universe will wait patiently as we make our way into the unknown.
The fate that awaits us is not dependent on our pace, so there is no reason to rush through life to reach those pinnacles of success associated with the paths we have chosen. Enjoying and fully experiencing the journey of life is as important as achieving goals and reaching milestones. There are lessons we can learn during the moments that seem insignificant that we cannot learn at any other time. However, appreciating these takes patience because human beings tend to focus on the fulfillment of expectations, rather than the simple joys of being.
Like many people, you have no doubt longed for the ability to fast forward through certain periods of your life. Yet haste is, by its very nature, vastly more stressful than serene fortitude. When you feel yourself growing impatient because the pace of your development is deceptively slow, remember everything that will occur in your life will occur in its own time. Quelling your urge to rush will enable you to witness yourself learning, changing, and becoming stronger. There is so much to see and do in between the events that we deem definitive. If you are patient enough to take pleasure in your life’s unfolding, the journey from one pinnacle to the next will seem to take no time at all. AMEN! ✨✨🌹

The neurologist that we have an appointment with next month sounds amazing. I actually spoke with his assistant and mentioned the problem we are having. She said this appointment is a consultation and he will not be rushing us out. I definitely need to keep track of hubby falling out of bed, so I guess no railing for now. Needs to know what causes the fall. A dream, an hallucination, etc.. A friend of ours who is in the medical field thinks it could be either an iron deficiency or a sleep disorder. Just noticed that this physician has a background in both. I am determined to get to the bottom of this. I would love to see hubby free of pain and able to do things he really enjoys Right now he still spends too much time in bed.
We had a lot of rain this week. Monday, just prior to leaving for the hospital, our lights went out. When we returned home following lunch out, they were still out. They were off for seven hours. Still do not know the cause. Yesterday, the same thing happened. Only this time there was a huge fireball. Not sure if it was a heat lightning strike, or an accident. We watched from our den windows. Lights came on sporadically. This one lasted a couple of hours.
We had all intentions to visit the dollar store today as well as Aldi’s. We never ventured out. The rain started around 9am and stopped a few hours later. Decided to try to go out and another storm hit. There was one clap of thunder that sounded like a car accident. Looked outside. Nothing. Never heard thunder quite like that. We stayed in. During Trivia hubby said he was hungry so made a stir fry with rice. Decided to make fried rice . Made it with pork, bok choy and green onion. Used olive oil in the wok (about two tablespoons), fresh garlic and spiced one of which was dill. I also added a couple of eggs and stirred like crazy so that it wouldn’t be scrambled. Enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
Guess I will take a shower and hit the sack. Have a great evening. Stay safe.
