I am so sorry for all of this and they are showing the frustration from other home owners
affected by the Ian Storm having the same problems and more.

Oodie lay down and rest. Trivia will be fine. Oodie you can always start it a little early
and all of the regulars will be there most want to know how you are doing.

I will bump up what you wrote on last week Trivia and that can save a lot of explaining.

I think you and your husband’s health and peace is mind is important. Thank goodness
you have a good Insurance Agent. ✨✨

Good afternoon in Florida. Hey I think my post to you went poof! So sorry about that.

How are you today? Congrats again on your new nephew and I know you can’t wait to
hold him. I hope things are turning around in your area. ✨💕

I still have Charlie and he got in bed with me again and Poppy was not a happy camper
I have never met a cat who did not like to cuddle in my bed Charlie has cancer and he wants
to be near someone. The cat will not go home. What’s a girl to do?

Perhaps I will see you in Trivia I have a slight headache due to the weather but I will make
an appearance read Oodiebom’s post to me she is doing a lot to get her home back to
normal after the storm.

I love red candy apples this time of year. I thank the good lord I have the teeth to eat them. 😎

I am very tired and will be taking a nap soon. I have been on the phone looking for a roofer. I am so used to a roofer in the Northeast who not only can do the roof but also does the necessary work prior. Here in Florida it’s the complete opposite, or so it seems. You need to contact a contractor to do the preliminary work first and then contact the roofer. Well, it seems all the people have gone further South to help in Ft. Myers and the islands. So folks like us are left in the dark. Thankfully, our Insurance Company is right there with us and are giving us a helping hand. However, they are running out of names as well and are just as frustrated as we are. There is however, one glimmer of hope. One of the places I contacted reached out and wants to see what has to be done. He will call sometime this evening and will make an appointment for sometime tomorrow. I had been on the phone since 8 am. Took a look at the time and noticed I was running late for my hair appointment which has been postponed until next week. UGH,,,,,Minor issue…….

As I said the Adjustor was here. I was on the phone, still in PJs when there was a knock on the door. My neighbor was the one who knocked. There was no phone call prior. Adjustor said he didn’t have our phone number. Funny, the insurance company did. and also the Claim’s Department. Anyway, he took pictures and the only problem we are facing is with the lanai and the den roof as well as an area covering our shed. The rest of the roof is in great condition (can you hear my sigh of relief????). For the time being, cannot use the den nor should we use any of the electrical outlets. Need to make a list of items that were lost or damaged.

Now, when it rains it pours. House in Ct. has sustained some damage from the torrential rains from Ian. I have reached out to our contractor, but have not heard from him. Can I be in two places at the same time????? Not sure. It does not look like a lot of problems, just some drain spouts that have moved away from the house, but are still standing. That’s it for now. Gonna rest for now. As I said, not sure about Trivia. You can let everyone know if I am not there that hubby and I are fine. I left a message in last week’s Trivia. Hope you are OK and Charlie is enjoying cuddling with you. Give Poppy an extra treat to let him know he is loved as well. Stay safe.

We Are Here to Serve

Every movement in the universe is a movement toward love.

We are living in a time of great change. Many thinkers and seers agree that humanity and the planet Earth are evolving at a quickened pace and that this evolution will necessarily be severe and seemingly chaotic at times. It is natural for people to react with fear because these changes will doubtless bring some level of difficulty and loss to many of us. However, it is essential that we all remember that our souls chose to be here at this time and to be part of this process. Every movement in the universe is a movement toward love. This is true even in situations that appear to be the opposite of loving at first glance.

Since we chose to be here, we are capable and ready to rise to the challenges we find ourselves in. It is helpful to reflect on our own lives and make any changes necessary to fully support humanity and the planet in loving ways. When we open our hearts in love instead of closing them in fear, we serve the divine process. We are all powerful spirits who took form at this time in order to serve our fellow humans, our planet, and the universe. When we find ways we can serve, our fear dissipates. We may serve by remaining calm and loving with our children and our families, even when the situation seems dark. We may serve by sending money to people who need financial assistance. We may serve by going out into the world and actively helping to rebuild lives. Regardless of what actions we choose to take, the essential element will be the internal gesture of choosing to remain in love. This is all that is needed.

When it is difficult to remain in love, we can always call upon our unseen helpers: the teachers and guides who are always with us. All we need to do is ask and then trust that we are being helped. The guidance we receive is love itself, showing us the way. AMEN! ✨✨
