Good evening in Oz. Busy two days with mom. Today her chair was delivered and it looks great. She seems happy but still has in the back of her mind that every single thing in a room has to match.😕 I was not there when it was delivered but the two guys must have seen a little old lady by herself so they unboxed it, took the plastic off and put it in her room.😊 Mom gave them each a bag of candy for their kindness.🍫🍬

Plan to take it easy tomorrow. May have my husband stop somewhere to pick up dinner. If all goes as planned, sis should be home in 17 days.🤗 She just boarded her cruise ship this afternoon in San Diego and will end up in Ft. Lauderdale on the 25th.

Planning lunch on Tuesday with a long time friend who I haven’t seen since May. I will definitely be pulling for your team on Monday night.🏈 Love Mahomes, he always has a trick play up his sleeve. BIL surgery on Monday.🤞 Time for some grape juice🍷 Love ya!💕💕

So sorry about the game yesterday. I thought for sure you would have two hours of questions. I did notice prior to the game that the Arcade kept freezing. I had problems playing most games. I had to turn the computer off and then turn on again. Going from one venue to another did not help. I actually thought it was a computer glitch, but Kindle had the same issues.

At one time Florida’s Insurance Companies did cover wind and tornadoes. But Andrew was the last straw. Many companies went belly up because they were not prepared fo help so many on the East coast. Today, we are seeing less and less payments because of the way Florida is situated between two coasts. And the Florida legislature is doing nothing to help the situation. If anything they have made it tougher to obtain what is needed. For instance in some cases an attic or a garage is not part of the home and therefore will not be insured. I think xango would have more info on this. I’m sort of new.

I contacted several roofers. Two are excellent. In both cases I need a contractor to come in to dismantle and repair the structure. I had two phone calls yesterday with people wanting to look at the damage and see what they could do to help us out. Neither one called last night or today thus far. What I really need is for someone to block the holes so that no water from rain can ultimately damage what is left. Hubby wanted to remove the love seat that is in the den. Question is where to put it. I have a feeling he wants to put it on top of the sofa. But, I zilched it. When we finally get people working then I will be concerned and hopefully those people will be stronger than us without their backs hurting. I tried contacting the Claims Department, but evidently they are off on the weekends. Monday cannot come soon enough.

I do have one question for you. When you decide to head to Colorado, what will happen to Charlie? He may think you deserted him. Hope his family will keep him indoors while you are away. I would hate to see anything happen to him.

news a lot of people are having some issues with insurance and what covers what. My goodness
what a nightmare this is the last thing anyone needs after a bad storm.
