I purchased a book on CBD Oil from Amazon. It has many good qualities. Great for sinus headaches, keeping wrinkles away, good for hair and nails, etc.. Hubby had his first real good night sleep last night in a long time. For the first time in months he awoke pain free and was able to help me. It was like old times. Finally the extra pair of hands that I really needed. His mind was good as well. However, he back tracked a little bit this evening. Said someone took our garbage can. Though it was dark out I did see our two cans. One in the Lanai and the other near th e house. Though emptied, I surmise he put the bag in the recycle bin and that I will check tomorrow. Then again, I will also take a look at the other containers. This tells me that he still has signs of dementia which may or may not pass. If the pain level really subsides, this will tell the story. Back to the CBD. I purchased it in the health section of our Farmer’s Market. There was a person in that section that gave me tons of info. The neurologist recommended the one with the stopper where I start at 25 mg per night for two or three weeks. After two or three weeks, he can start taking it during the day. I took a look at the ingredients and I will need to have one without the cinnamon due to that, believe it or not, is a sulfite. If you are interested, Amazon carries it and the price is lots less than what I paid. If this works for hubby, then I will order from Amazon. II was amazed what this oil can do. It also comes in gummies.

Thanks for the great suggestion. I was concerned with the tarp that it would not let the wood to breathe. The drop cloth is not only less expensive, but would permit the wood to be safe from the elements. As far as the tarps go, I was going to either Ollies or to Big Lots for the tarps.

I definitely will need to find a contractor to put the roof back in order. Funny that the roofers here only do roofs and not the important structure part as well. Guess the Northeast really spoiled me on that one.

I guess you know I started hubby on the CBD Oil. Last night was the first night he actually slept soundly. He awoke this morning for the first time in over a year without complaining of leg and back pain. Was so good to have those extra pair of hands helping me. Maybe I can finally accomplish something.

I am taking your advice on a bed rail. Just do not know what to look for and what to purchase. I’ve been studying this for a couple of weeks. I know Amazon sells them, but not sure if it’s sturdy enough.

Take care of yourself while boxing things for the new home. Don’t overdo it. Pack lightly so you do not ruin your back. Most of all, stay safe.

I am so glad BIL had his surgery when I had mine I thought I was leaving this world.
Believe when I say it was the worst ever. I was in a great hospital with a great surgeon
I have wrote about it on these threads in the past. I never want to go through that again period.
The Morphine did not help and all I was in was a Purple Haze. I spent eight days in the hospital.

I hope your BIL is so relieved he does not noticed a thing. 🌹
