Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND HUBBY AND YOUR KIDS INCLUDING Poppy, Charlie and the 3 lil kittens that don’t know to come in from the cold.
I am hearing fireworks from next door. Not sure if we will be able to see any in the distance due to clouds and rain. We need those droplets so I am not saying for that to come another day. All food is put away. I am now cleaning the counters, and doing the dishes. After complaining of a backache for days, now is the time to put everything away and start fresh again. Hopefully, this year will bring an adopted cat or dog or maybe one of each. It will be a challenge I’m sure, but tons of fun along the way. Hopefully, tomorrow or Monday I will be putting our bed together which will include the new bedrail. And speaking of the bedrail, it also comes with a strap or buckle that goes to the other side of the bed to make the rail more secure. It took some time to find the one, but I went to many websites and read reviews and also contacted our doctors for advice. I am hoping that the choice I made is a good one. Only time will tell.
Have a great evening. Stay warm and stay safe.

(Theme From) New York, New York
Song by Frank SinatraStart spreading the news
I’m leaving today
I want to be a part of it
New York, New York
These vagabond shoes
They are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it
New York, New York
I want to wake up in a city
That never sleeps
And find I’m king of the hill
Top of the heap
These small town blues
They are melting away
I’ll make a brand new start of it
In old New York
If I can make it there
I’ll make it anywhere
It’s up to you
New York, New York
New York, New York
I want to wake up in a city
That doesn’t sleep
And find that I’m number one
Top of the list
Head of the heap
King of the hill
These little town blues
They’ve all melted away
I’m gonna make a brand new start of it
In old New York
And
If I can make it there
I’ll make it practically anywhere
It’s up to you
New York, New York

Somewhere
Song by Barbra StreisandSomeday, somewhere
We’ll find a new way of living
We’ll find a way of forgiving
Somewhere
There’s a place for us
Somewhere a place for us
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us somewhere
There’s a time for us
Someday there’ll time for us
Time together with time to spare
Time to learn and time to care
Someday, somewhere
We’ll find a new way of living
We’ll find there’s a way of forgiving
Somewhere, somewhere, somewhere
There’s a place for us, a time and a place for us
Hold my hand and we’re half way there
Hold my hand and I’ll take you there
Somehow, someday, somewhere
That were nice
Well you’re all my friends
I love you for being here, thank you
Thank you
I wanna welcome you to my home
I don’t mind telling you that, erm
I’ve spent more than a few sleepless nights
Wondering what I could possibly do
That would be worth 5000 dollars
And erm, then I figured out that erm
I would be singing 3, 924 notes
And that comes over a little up to a dollar a note
And you know some notes were longer
And so they’re worth about three dollars
Some are shorter 50 cents but you know, it averages out
I’m really glad you are here tonight
This place is very special to me
Here I’m constantly reminded of the
Awesome balance of nature
And how precious it all is
And maybe that’s why I felt like
This was the perfect place to gather
Surrounded by beauty, life, and lots of good friends, you know -
What a Wonderful World
Song by Louis ArmstrongI see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying how do you do
They’re really saying
I love you
I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more
Than I’ll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Ooh, yes -
Auld Lang Syne
Song by Rod StewartShould auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And the days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne
And surely you will buy your cup
And surely I’ll buy mine!
We’ll take a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne
We two have paddled in the stream
From morning sun till night
The seas between us Lord and swell
Since the days of auld lang syne
For old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should old acquaintance be forgot
For the sake of auld lang syne?
For old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should old acquaintance be forgot
In the days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne -
What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve
Song by Ella FitzgeraldWhen the bells all ring and the horns all blow
And the couples we know are fondly kissing
Will I be with you or will I be among the missing?
Maybe it’s much too early in the game
Ah, but I thought I’d ask you just the same
What are you doing New Year’s, New Year’s eve?
Wonder whose arms will hold you good and tight
When it’s exactly twelve o’clock that night
Welcoming in the New Year, New Year’s Eve?
Maybe I’m crazy to suppose
I’d ever be the one you chose
Out of the thousand invitations you received
Ah, but in case I stand one little chance
Here comes the jackpot question in advance
What are you doing New Year’s, New Year’s Eve?
Ah, but in case I stand one little chance
Here comes the jackpot question in advance
What are you doing New Year’s, New Year’s Eve?

Thank you for reading the post. I hope no one has to walk on eggshells for anyone.
It is what it is and maybe some day it may turn out to be nothing.

Club Sheba New Year’s Eve Edition. 🌹😘😎

Sorry if you think I let you down in some way, Sheba. We all have very different personalities here. I’m a very independent person. I’m too old to walk on eggshells, and at the end of the day, I’m still just going to be me – as you will be you. And if our online personalities don’t click, that’s totally fine, too. Not looking for drama, especially on New Year’s Eve. Be well, Sheba.✨💜🎆💗🎉

May the Lord make my New Year a happy one…
Not by shielding me from sorrow and pain, but by strengthening me to bear it if it comes.
Not by making my path easy, but by making me sturdy enough to tread any path.
Not by taking hardship from me, but by taking all cowardice and fear from my heart as I meet hardships.
Not by granting me unbroken sunshine, but by keeping my face bright even in the shadows.
Not by making my life always pleasant, but by showing me where men and His cause need me most and by making me zealous to be there and to help…
God, make my year a happy one.
