Trivia was OK even though the game didn’t work. Like you, I started to relax by playing the games in the Arcade. Only thing was I fell sound asleep sitting upright and awoke around 4am this morning. Guess I didn’t miss anything as far as the game went. But did miss being there for those who showed. At least this time around they let you know there weren’t any questions.

I’m still in a dither here. I need a contractor first to redo the structure, then I can contact the roofer. Finding someone who isn’t in Ft. Myers is the difficult part. I have another business to call on Monday. Meanwhile, we got hit with a t hunderstorm and wind with the rain. I need to check the shed, but afraid to do so. Hubby watched the rain in the den . I cannot seem to find anyone who can cover the skylights. Luckily, I have been able to go into the shed which is like our basement and attic area. This is where I store things that are not used on a daily basis. Thank goodness all the electrical appliances are not in the area where the rain comes in. So that’s one good thing. However, I will need someone to remove the rug in the den which is glued to the cement floor. This was probably the lanai from previous owners. That entire room will need to be redone from top to bottom. I feel it is no longer safe to be in there for any length of time. The lanai as well. But that is one is an easy fix. Just needs a new roof and new screens. I still have not heard from the insurance claim person. He said to have patience. But it has been three days. I just hope they will not leave us in the dark. So many companies are up and leaving. Very scary situation.

The new grass area is coming in nicely. I was about to water the area when the sky darkened and I saw lightning on the horizon. We are still running the A/C. However, beginning Tuesday we will be getting the first of many cold fronts. Temps during the day will still be in the 80s, however, nighttime will be in the 50s. This will last for a day or so and then we will back to the high 80s and low 70s at night. This will give me an idea of what it will be like if we venture North. First need to get the repairs done and then we shall see. Hubby has a doctor appointment with the neurologist a week from either Monday or Tuesday .

Oh, I see you didn’t know what to make for dinner. I checked the freezer earlier and found some steak and that led to an idea. I made a stir fry with tons of veggies along with rice, plums and box choy. All the veggies were from the Farmer’s Market and were so sweet. No herbs or seasoning needed. There’s some leftovers for hubby tomorrow. With the right knives, cutting everything was a breeze.

Have a great evening. Hope Charlie is OK. The hemp oil is supposed to be great for sinuses and also the headaches. I just have to find one without cinnamon. Believe it or not cinnamon is a sulfite and the symptoms are awful. Last night I had some ice cream. A couple of hours later I could not figure what was making me so sick. Had chills and nausea. Today I read the label on the ice cream. Corn Syrup and Corn Starch were added twice. To think this is what woke me up around 4am. Who knew??????

Xango I was raised in States with four seasons and that is why Spring and Fall and light Winters

My Saturday went alright got a few things done and more leaves tomorrow they just will not
stop falling.

Hello Sheba, how was your Saturday?
I was talking to my cousin in Brazil, saying how the United States already received snow for this Autumn season. The Southern part of Brazil is still cold and lots of rain.
My cousin has such a beautiful garden, she grows lettuce, yuca, squash, herbs, tomatoes even watermelon. She has papaya trees and pomegranate trees. As I understand pomegranates are an essential part of the Brazilian Christmas table.

We enjoy tacos here too, I prefer chicken and hubby fish tacos. I like it with lettuce and lots of tomatoes.
This year I ordered plant covering from Amazon. I would cover my plants with old sheets and blankets but some how the wind would always uncover.
The ones I ordered have a way to tie, it has a dream string.

Hey guess what, I was able to get a real good deal on Wolfgang Puck 10 inch steel skillet. I had it in my favorites, the price came down from $39.95 to $24.99. I had spendable cash and a coupon for free shipping.

We received groceries from Kroger today, got some Italian sweet sausage.
I made some French bread, the first time I tried out a recipe called “The perfect Vietnamese Baguette by hand for beginner without robo, very easy to make”. I did make it in the stand mixer though. They actually came out very good, made a a sandwich with the sausage yummy. 😀

Happy Saturday to you! It’s a beautiful day with sunshine and around 70. But it’s also raining leaves everywhere.😣🍁🍂 ‘Tis the season and we have so many trees. Take your time in the yard, don’t hurt any body parts, it always gets done.

Husband went to Little Caesar’s to get one of their Fanceroni pizzas for lunch/dinner today. First time trying that and it is exactly like the commercial, every square inch covered in pepperoni.🍕 So good if you are a roni fan. I always say I am going into a restaurant and tell them I want the one on the commercial, whatever it may be, because the food is stacked sky high and big.😅

BIL moved yesterday to the skilled nursing facility, SIL not having a great birthday.😥 I hope he can get out within the next two weeks.
