Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Good evening I have been hearing nightmares on the Telly about Insurances. I cannot
wait until the important things you need done are handled Oodie I can tell by your writing
you are concerned as you should be.One thing at time. I wish you had someone near you who could help but I think the whole
State of Florida is having the same problem reaching someone and no answer.Oodie I know you will try again tomorrow sorry about the itchy skin I had it too. I was
working around leaves and things in our yard I thought I would scratch skin off. I too
too my sinus meds and a shower and I felt fine. Oodie we are cold tonight I am getting
under two comforters and turn the Fireplace on in our bedroom. The heat is on too.I wish it were something I could do to help you. 😘Sending you a nice hug Oodie.

It was a windy day here. The clouds were dark with some silver linings. Thought it would rain several times, but thankfully, we stayed dried. Temps tonight will go down to the mid 50s and will have trouble staying in the 70s tomorrow. Like you, did some laundry as well. Oh, yes, forgot to mention that we will be back in the 80s either Friday or Saturday. No A/C needed for the next couple of days.
I didn’t do much today. Was up half the night scratching the arms and legs. Nice big welts that I thought were bug bites, but were hives. I popped my sinus pills all night in hopes it would ease the itching. It finally let up this morning. Guess everything is catching up with me from Ian.
I have made numerous phone calls and so far have heard either nothing or they are in Ft. Myers and elsewhere. I did receive a phone call from someone near me in another town who gave me a source. If they cannot help, they will be able to give me some leads. First thing tomorrow I will make that call. Our insurance company seems to be non existent but I surmise they are up to their ears with phone calls. All I need is a new roof and some structural work. Most people not only lost their homes, but everything that was inside. Pictures of loved ones are now gone forever. It’s a huge headache for them, but at times people have found some items that they
thought were lost. Most importantly, they have never lost hope. Thankfully they are alive. Things can be replaced. But a human life, Never. In reflecting, I was thinking of your step mom who has a place on the East Coast. Some areas were also damaged and I hope and pray that her home is safe so she can return during the winter months.Hubby has an appointment with the neurologist next week. Again it will be virtual. However, I am now debating cancelling the appointment because there is no place for us to sit and have the chat and discussion. Then again, maybe, just maybe there will be someone I contact that can do the job and if not, patch the holes so I do not lose more things in the shed or have water in our den. I am also looking for someone to remove the carpet which is glued to a cement floor. Meanwhile we are fluctuating between tiling or using a waterproof vinyl floor. At least it is giving us time to make some decisions and to keep us out of trouble.
I am now not at all certain that hubby has Parkinsons. The CBD oil is helping him sleep better and to take the edge off his aches and pains. The neurologist thinks his problem is a sleep disorder. But he is not ruling out Parkinsons. He is sleeping better during the night and “knock on wood” no nightmares, though waking up to me may be one. He has been taking the oil a little over a week now and it does help the pain somewhat during the day. He is taking 25 mg as often as needed at this point. He can increase the dosage, but cannot exceed 50 mg.
On a funny note: Today I can say I may have dementia. I kept thinking today was Wednesday, I had no idea what the date was. The reason why I am laughing is because when hubby was hospitalized last year the nurses and even the physician asked him the day and date and what where he was. He couldn’t respond. As far as where he was he could only state a hospital because he was in another State. At the time he didn’t have his cell or the Kindle to help with that question. It is absolutely amazing what some meds can do to one’s mind. I completely forgot because of all the meds I had to take to be comfortable from the itching. Very scary. Oh yes, the bottom right hand side of the computer also has the date and time. But in my case, it wasn'[t turned on. When you are not getting up at the crack of dawn and your days become Friday nights and Saturday days you can lose all track of time. That goodness for the electronics we own. On that note have a great evening and I hope you see Charlie soon.
