I am wearing the new glasses as I use the keyboard and they are good. They were specifically made for driving, though I was told to wear them daily. I also have one for reading and doing puzzles. Cannot use the ones sold on HSN or the ones found on store shelves. The magnification does not help, everything is blurry. Getting Progressives didn’t work either. Seems when I looked up it was OK. But from the middle and going downward, unable to see period. The Ophthalmologist laughed when I mentioned this. He said that near sighted people seem to have this problem.

House is coming along. Backache is horrid. I find that 5 minutes of standing means at least 15 minutes of sitting. I absolutely refuse to take any form of aspirin and that includes Excedrin and Tylenol.

Good to know that Heidi will return sometime in the near future. Meanwhile would love to see some of her new items for HSN. As I said previously, I love her spontaneity and her laughter.

Well, tomorrow I will be going to MV (Motor Vehicles). My driver’s license is no longer compliant and it seems that this needs to be done now rather than later. I didn’t realize that this will be necessary to fly or take a cruise. I completed all the necessary forms on-line and just in case, have the necessary paperwork with me.

Like Shoelady, I usually have my mam in January. However, because of the workmen, had to cancel and will make the necessary arrangements after everything is done, overwith, etc..

Mr. Oodie is in lots of pain. I will be contacting our physician over the next couple of days. I just hope the day of his appointment, the workers will not be around. I also need to know if he will be able to head North. Right now his driving is limited to a 5 mile radius. That doesn’t give him much time behind the wheel, but our physician is extremely cautious. And, yes, I am scared. Driving 1350 miles and worrying that he could fall even with a walker or miss a step if in a wheelchair. He says it’s no problem, but I see differently.
