Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thriller
Song by Michael JacksonIt’s close to midnight
Something evil’s lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight
You see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream
But terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze
As horror looks you right between the eyes
You’re paralyzed
‘Cause this is thriller, thriller night
And no one’s gonna save you
From the beast about to strike
You know it’s thriller, thriller night
You’re fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller, ow
I’m gonna thrill you tonight
Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y’all’s neighborhood (I’m gonna thrill you tonight)
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of
And rot inside a corpse’s shell
I’m gonna thrill you tonight (thriller night, babe)
The foulest stench’s in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb (I’m gonna thrill you tonight)
Are closing in to seal your doom (oh, yeah)
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller
‘Cause this is thriller, thriller night
There ain’t no second chance against the thing with 40 eyes, girl
Thriller, thriller night
You’re fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller
‘Cause this is thriller, thriller night
‘Cause I can thrill you more than any ghoul would ever dare try
Thriller (ooh-ooh), thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a
Killer, thriller, killer, thriller here tonight
‘Cause this is thriller, thriller night
Girl, I can thrill you more than any ghoul would ever dare try
Thriller (ooh-ooh), thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller, ow -

Good evening and thank you for providing this information. This I will share with my
Step-Mother she is in her 70’s and weigh about 110 pounds and was diagnosed with
diabetes. Step-Mother is the most health conscious person I know she takes her vitamin supplements and weigh a pound. One year she went in for a routine Colonoscopy and during the procedure had a heart
attack thank goodness she was in a hospital and they took her straight to the IC to prepare
for test and surgery my Step-Mom had the very same procedure your husband had.I am going to copy what you posted to send to her they put a tube in her throat and she
never regain full use of her voice. If I need to talk to her I have to text her. The Heart Surgery
went really well and she is walking and then some so thanks for your help.✨✨Xango she had to have the Colonoscopy months later and came out fine.

Hello Oodie, how are you both doing? Thanks to the powers above and your neighbor you can see some light at the end of the tunnel. So glad he is going to help and get the work done. I am also glad it puts you in the right path. And hopefully November will be not only a better month but a successful one.
It sounds like the oli is working its magic, and providing some comfort for your husband. It’s wonderful he is able to enjoy the trip shopping and help you.
Here’s wishing you both a great week Oodie.

Good afternoon Sheba, how are you doing?
A walk in the rain with Poppy sounds wonderful. A gentle rain is always a good thing.
I read that this Winter La Naña will make a drier than average Central Florida.

I asked hubby about his diet, this website will provide much info. On what to cut out completely. He did this for the first 90 days to bring his A1C from 14 to 6.
He then continued on a diet of permanent healthy eating. He onoy used olive oil and no butter. He doesn’t eat red meat at all. He eat some chicken, some fish and shrimp, but mostly he only eats vegetables and legumes. Lots of lentils, garbanzo beans, navy beans etc.
He makes a pot of lentils that he purchases at an Indian store or chickpeas. He uses the following spices, red chili powder, cumin, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, garlic and ginger. He mix the lentils or chickpeas with his desired vegetable (s).
He chops sweet potatoes into cubes with onions sautéed it in olive oil with whatever spice he feels like at the moment and also depends on if it’s for dinner or breakfast.
He uses chickpea flour to make some patties for breakfast and there are mant recipes on YouTube. One just have to choose one of you liking. He mix chickpea flour with small dice vegetables. Sometimes he uses an egg, and sometimes he doesn’t., but the recipe will advise. Then sometimes he just sees a recipe, then does his own thing.
At times he makes sweet cookies with Almond flour and his sugar substitute, that too YouTube has recipes. He sees a recipe on YouTube and ends up using the ingredients, but making something his way. He doesn’t actually follows the exact way it’s made, he does his thing.
It’s alot to do with what he doesn’t eat, which is all that creates sugar in the blood. No white (regular) potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, wheat, corn, etc. He limits his intake of peas, lima beans or any other veggie that has some sugar.
Once in a while he has a low carb pita bread, but that’s only in a blue moon and keeps his eye on his glucose.
And now his diet/meals has become even more strict because of his heart. No fats, such as cheese whole dairy products etc. That will clog his arteries.
I hope this helps or will give you and your family member an idea.♥️

Take care Sheba -
