Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

🎃
Happy Halloween Sheba 🎃 Here is wishing you, hubby and Poppy a fun evening.
I made vanilla madeleines, chocolates ones too. I made cookies with cornstarch and condense milk, a Brazilian recipe. I have a huge basket filled with goodies to give out.
Sun goes down at 6:43, going to get into my costume. 😄
Have fun Sheba and be careful, take care 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 -
@Sheba
The people who had an appointment with us for tomorrow cancelled and we will meet with them Thursday morning. There are at least 2 others I would like to hear from.
Not to worry on the electrical. We have a licensed electrician and we will get a quote from him. We do have some electrical issues that can be addressed by him as well. Just need to clean a bit first and move some things around that are blocking the space that he needs to see
We were scheduled to go out today and I reluctantly cancelled due to sinus and coughing. Not a happy camper. I guess the two of us know what DEFG is going through. I will be turning on our air purifier momentarily.
Looking forward to Heidi’s visit. I still wonder why she isn’t on more often. There are quite a few customers asking the same question.
Hope you get loads of kids with parents for the trick or treaters tonight.

Happy Halloween and lots of Hocus Pocus ✨✨

Taking A Break From What You Are Doing
Sometimes finding the answer is as easy as taking a break and stepping back from the situation.
Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in our thoughts that we wind up going around and around in circles, finding it difficult to concentrate on things and, because we are so distracted, not really accomplishing much. There may be signals — mental, emotional, or physical — that tell us we need to slow down and relax. Since we are so involved in things that are external to us, however, we may easily overlook what is really going on inside of us. It is during these times that we need to step back from the things that occupy our minds and take a moment to connect with our inner self, giving our minds, bodies, and spirits the time they need to re-energize and heal.
At first it may seem that by taking a break, we may not be as productive as we would initially like. In reality, a healthy period of rest is something that gives us a real sense of the unlimited nature of our true potential. Spending a couple of minutes walking outside, doing a few yoga poses, meditating, or simply becoming attuned to the rising and falling of our breath enables us to let go of our worries. This act brings our focus back to the things that are truly essential for us, such as our sense of oneness with the universe and our inner peace and well-being. As we begin to get in touch with this part of ourselves, we will find that our usual everyday troubles and worries become less critical and that we not only have much more room in our lives to really reflect on the issues that mean the most to us, but we are also able bring a much more positive and healthy outlook to the rest of our lives.
Giving ourselves respite from our daily concerns is like giving a gift to ourselves. By stepping away from the problems that seem to saturate our thoughts, we lessen the weight of our troubles and instead become more receptive to the wisdom and answers the universe has to offer us. AMEN! ✨✨
