I can guarantee that Kanas is cold with incoming snow and rain. ✨I am near Stateline
which divides Kansas and Missouri. I also shop in Missouri and it is bone cold and will
not let up anytime soon.

I am dealing with a head cold due to going in and out of the house. ✨✨

My sister-in-law who lived in Silver Springs, Maryland had this in her home.
Sister in law lives on the Plaza and still have a nice Fireplace I will be going there
to watch someone turn on the Plaza Lights. This is always a big event for the
Thanksgiving week and up until after the New Year. 😎

This is a very late post from me as my brother surprised me with a visit. Brother and
his wife are passing through and wanted me to be surprised I was. 😘✨

Lady we have below normal temps here and between Colorado and we will have some
snow with rain it will be messy.

I am typing this post rather late as I had a surprised visit from my brother who lives
in Colorado. Everyone in the family was told not to tell me and surprise 😲 they did
not spell the beans. I wish they had as I could have road to Colorado. Plans are being
made for me to get there after I see all the doctors. I have like three appointments
to have labs drawn which is important because it is the end of the year and these appointments
will not be available if I try to reschedule. ✨

No worries I can take my time in Colorado with my mother and entire family once all of this
is over. 😎

I love the Kitchen Pantry and I know it is well organized that is another thing I am working
on in various parts of my home. Poppy is doing fine and I am always on the lookout for
Charlie I miss that cat so much. I know he will be back but I am told not to let him in my
house. I have to respect his owners.

I have baking of my own to do everything is so high at the grocery store. Shizzle!

I am one well dressed woman I have been wearing my Adrian Apfel Jacket which is
very warm I got the gray and the yellow last year and they feel great. I have to wear
a hot because it is just too cold. I have Patricia Nash Leather gloves I brought here
on HSN. I even have some Vince Camto Boots I brought here as well.

I am still a wee bit under the weather due to the deep drop in temperature’s.

Forgot to mention that I received the Lion necklace. It is really gorgeous. Wish I was still a member of the Lion’s Club. Anyway, will give a review. It is that bea utiful. I did not purchase the entire suite.

Good evening this is late for me to be posting. ✨🌹Well at least I am posting. 😜

I hope everything goes well for you this week you and hubby deserve it after all you
have been through. ✨✨I would get new everything that is covered and then some.

Oodie I had a surprise visitor today that shocked me it was one of my brothers who is
on the way back to Colorado he told everyone in the family not to tell me as he wanted
to surprise me. Well it was a surprised. Brother and his wife are just passing through she
is from Kansas and still have relatives in the area. I was so happy to see him and if I did not
have some important medical plans this week I would have left with them in a heart beat to
see our mom and the rest of the family. 💕💕

No worries brother said he will come back after my appointments and take me to Colorado.
Oodie like you I do not like to fly I will only if I have to.

I can’t wait to jump into my mother’s bed at night and watch her late movies that I grew up on.
My mother loves dance and romance and so do I. Mom bedroom is large and with beautiful
windows I can’t wait to get there. My sister came from Georgia she flew and she said we
she came in my mother was cooking and getting things from the fridge. My mother was
surprised. 😜 When my mother see me I don’t want her to pass our or anything so I have to
figure out if I will let her know I am coming or just wait and be a surprise.

We have snow and rain coming tomorrow so my brother and his wife are trying to beat
the weather.

I went to the market with hubby today and guess what Broccoli was 3.99 ahead last year
it was .99 what the heck is going on. November and December is a very busy month for me
as I have to see many specialist before year’s end. I have no out of pocket to pay so there is
a lot on my plate and then I am out of Kansas for a minute and I need it. 😎✨

I will write more tomorrow yes Charlie is at home and I am so sorry I cannot be with him.
I know he is looking for me but it is what it is. Sigh…

Yes Oodie I do enjoy Tea with Manuka Honey my father taught me all about the benefits of
Honey especially Manuka we take our health seriously in this family. ✨

The tea was excellent with the Manuka honey. I hope you tried some. It definitely would help your cold. We picked up some prescripts and went on to the Farmer’s Market. It was late in the day like after 5pm when we finally left. The market closes at 8pm and the lot was jammed packed. Luckily a car pulled out that was close to the store. Hubby didn’t have to walk a mile today. The place was busy. It was after 6 pm. Could not believe it. The price for farmer’s fresh Romaine shot up to $4.99 each. Sticker shot for veggies. There was a sign over the display that this was the new price for now. They had some new sweet potatoes. I purchased a couple to try. I assume the prices may go up more because of weather. They had the smallest watermelon that I’ve ever seen. They were 2 for $1.50. Cut into one last night and it was delicious. Best part no seeds and not overly sweet. I love their homemade bread. Picked up the Jalapeno and cheese. The fire is back!!!! Thought of your hubby. He would really like the one I purchased. I gave hubby a warning. It didn’t last long. He took a bite. Gave him some milk to ease the fire. Yes, there were dragon fruit. At $4.99/lb they looked kind of bleak. The yellow ones were brown and the reds turning brown. Decided to wait on that one. We left about a half hour prior to closing and cars and people were still arriving. Parking lot was still full.

Tomorrow afternoon or first thing Tuesday morning will be contacting the plumber on two leaks. I have a replacement faucet. I will be contacting our electrician soon after since our shed lights are non working and I need to look for things. I am also finding that some outlets are not in working order and may be from the two hurricanes. I also will be sending an e-mail to the contractor on the insurance. Hopefully, we will get things started soon.

Sometime tomorrow we will look at refrigerators. The two I have seen on line are still on sale until Wednesday. Should not take too long since it’s a toss up And the Internet made shopping fun for a change. Checked out all the appliance stores and saved mileage and gas. I have a feeling we may wait to early spring before driving North. Not sure if our bodies are ready for the cold……..brrr………temps. And yes, the A/C is on. I actually turn it off during the day and put it on at night for air circulation.

Hope Charlie comes around again. I'[m sure he is giving his mom a rough time. Probably meowing like crazy to be let out the front or back door. I’m glad Poppy is tolerant. Take care and hope you begin to feel better soon. Sudden change in temps is not good for our system.

Hello Sheba, I am good today and hope your head cold is better by the time you read this.
I don’t remember if I had mentioned that I purchased a dresser a while back. This weekend I filled it with all my baking items. From flour to cookie cutters and everything in between, now it’s all in one place. Anything to do with baking its in there and no where else. Before I had it mixed in with other groceries items. Husband would use an item and put it back on the shelf, a messy shelf and I would have a hard time finding things. The dresser has twelve drawers, four large ones down the middle and four midium ones on each side. It’s beautiful and very helpful.
I have ordered some dry crystallized fruit like orange, lemon peel and some cheeries from Amazon for the Panettones for the holidays. I also found a recipe on YouTube for sugared orange peel, I might try to make it myself just to see if it’s a good one. I will place it on here in case anyone wants to try it. I will also place the Panettone recipe in case someone would like to gather the ingredients and make it for the holidays.

To answer your question, what family I have left here in the northeast, probably at least 8, are getting together in MD on Thanksgiving. (Most of my family is in the midwest, mainly MO, & I very rarely get to visit them, plus my siblings are gone now, the last one from covid.😢)
It’s already too cold in MO! KS, too!

Good evening my friend. Just got home and had a wonderful day with the nephews, the two golfers and the new baby. Enjoyed hugging and kissing all since we rarely get to see them.🤗🥰

Congrats on the game, I knew they would win.✨ Hope it continues. We lost the game last night in overtime but still got a point with the end of regulation tie so I wasn’t too disappointed. We got five of six points in the last three games so that is good.😊

We are cold today and saw some light flurries.❄ I wish this was March instead of November. Get rid of that cold, stay inside, stay warm, have a drink, hot or cold🍷☕ and relax tonight. Sending love your way!💗💕💖
