Heard from the contractor yesterday and today. Monday they will be here to go over the contract and a few days following I will be given the date they will start. I had received the e-mail version the other day and I was happy to see that they will be including our den if needed. And, from what I read, it will be torn down completely. The rest of the den furniture and knick knacks they will move. I will make room in our living room which means moving our new couch and love seat to the outdoors or into something in our driveway. This will need to go through our Association Board. What I have seen is that I will need to rent an Pod that will go into a storage area until we are ready. I will cross that area when the time comes.

Hubby’s knee and my back are giving us problems. So thankful that the frig I was looking at will be on sale for another week. Actually, there are two or three possibilities. We also visited Costco. Hubby had the hotdog and I had the cheese pizza. Also bought a couple of novels.

Tomorrow is a work day for us. The house is coming together. Our family is all North with a few in California. If we were North we would be getting together at some point. Oh, I did splurge on a couple of boots just in case we head North during the winter. Now to find a pair for hubby. The ones I use are in the hall closet at the Cape. And yes, we do have someone to shovel and plow us out. That’s the Ct. home. Cape Cod seldom gets snow and when they do, it’s usually a big one. No worries there either when you have neighbors looking out for you when there or not. When the roof and all pieces are put together we will decide on the drive. We need a week to 10 days of great weather to travel. Neither of us enjoy the I-95 corridor.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I also hope that Charlie shows and you can shower him with love and some turkey, sweet potatoes and giblets. Both of my cats enjoyed the turkey soup with the veggies and turkey thrown in. Anyway, have a great day and do find some time to sit back and relax with a cup of coffee or tea.
