Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Yesterday I was outside when it was between sunset and darkness. The temperature must have been in the fifties and the wind was blowing. I started to shiver and thought for a moment I was back in New England. But fifty degree weather in New England never brought the shivers. Fifty degrees didn’t make you want to cuddle under myriads of covers. Guess I now have to say, my blood is definitely Floridian. Our fifties here does make you feel like it’s in the 20s.
The physical therapy seems to be helping hubby. His step has really improved. What a difference two weeks have made. Even his voice has more pep and energy even though his body just wants to stay in bed. And I really haven’t been much help. I have been unable to do any real work in the house since Saturday. Don’t know if I had a stomach virus or it was an allergic reaction to sulfites. Whatever it was, kept me from working on the house. So glad there were no promises made for the Big Feast Day. Will be back in the saddle tomorrow.
I wish you both a great Thanksgiving. Whatever you decide on for dessert is OK by me. Just leave me a small morsel to try. I hope your MIL has a wonderful day as well.

Yesterday evening I happened to be outside to check on a few things. It was between sunset and total darkness and I was in the lanai. Rather than enter the house through the den area I went to the front and noticed a little something at the edge of our driveway. coming towards me. At first I thought it was a cat, but it didn’t walk like a cat. Yes, it had four legs. It stopped near the back tires of our van and sat down. My eyes seemed to focus more as I pondered what it was. Then it dawned on me. Not a cat at all. It was an adult racoon. Guess he needed a friend, but as he got up and was making his way towards me I told him to stop and said GO. He left in a hurry.
For the first time since we returned from Savannah, I have noticed a huge change in my husband’s walk. He may be hurting, but he is actually using that leg more and I can see great improvement. We went to the Dollar Store and Aldi’s late this afternoon. He forgot his cane, though we did have the walker in the car. He didn’t use it. He walked from the car to the Tree. No, we were not in a handicapped spot because we both forget to ask our physician for the form. So, he had quite a distance before reaching the double doors. Then he walked around the store while I had the carriage. He refused the carriage. He left for the car when he saw the long line waiting to check out. From there to Aldi. He used the carriage and stayed with me through check out. Left when while I was bagging.
Next week we both have our doctor appointments along with two days of PT. So it will definitely be a busy week. Oh yes, the A/C people will be here Monday for the duct work. I still walk pass the guest bath area and cannot believe how much the flooring has changed the look in there.
Hope you and Mr. Sheba have a great day. I know iti will a busy one for both of you. Guess it will soon be the day to take out those decorations and do some trim work. Never a dull moment for either of us. Take care and please stay safe.

How did you know????? We are enjoying pizza as I type. Thank you for your kind sentiments. I wish you and Mr. Shoelady a great Thanksgiving. I hope mom and sis will enjoy the day as well. So many thanksgivings and the best part, it is never ending. Enjoy the day, the games and most of all just being surrounded by family and friends. Be thankful for the little things and be ever mindful to live for today and not tomorrow. Remember to take the time to breathe and reflect. Wishing your family the best of everything. Most of all enjoy the day and everything around you.

Shoelady, wishing you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I won’t be on the road.
I did some driving today before the traffic started.
Yesterday, I drove to Costco and after 1 circle in the parking lot, left without going into the store.
The lot was full and I had to follow the cars in front of me to get out. Spent about 20 minutes doing that maybe more. tis the season. -
I had them in the distant past and they come in all shapes and faces. 😜

Happy Thanksgiving my friend. 💕✨😎

Hoping you do not have one of these in your life. They can be very destructive.
