Hi Oodiebom,  Chag Sameach.  Thank you for your kind words, I do feel  better today. Between you and Sheba I known I have two good friends that lift me up when needed.
Those are fond memories you have working in your father’s store. And the Holidays are always a fun time to be in such a place.
I worked at a Magruder’s Grocery store in my very early twenties in Washington,  D.C.  Had a fun time during the Holidays. 

I am glad Mr. OODIEBOM’s sugar is down from his last visit. Making your own protein shake sounds like a real good idea.  My husband makes his own oat milk, he places oats in a high power blender with water, blends it then strain it. But almond milk we buy it, the one with no sugar,  no vanilla,  no anything just plain. 
Just a reminder,  Amazon has all kinds of nut flours that doesn’t raise the glucose. Also sugar substitutes including brown sugar substitute. I made some candied pecans for hubby with his sugar substitute the other day and it turn out really good.

Yes I do miss my family, hubby and I was talking about taking a trip to Brazil when this Pandemic settles down to see my nieces and nephews.
Sometimes I want to ask questions but there is no one left that can answer. My mother came from a family of 10 children. The youngest and the last one my aunt,  passed 5 years ago.  I went to visit her in 2009, stayed for about a month visiting her and my late brother’s children. My nieces and nephews are all adults with children of their own. 

Oodie, Dont forget to take care of yourself too.
