Hi Oodie, thanks for checking in. My husband’s tests last week were good, no changes from about four years ago, that’s what we were hoping for.

I read about the cruise ship and according to our local paper, all crew and passengers were vaccinated. My sister did a cruise in October out of California and she had to be vaccinated and also have a negative covid test two days before leaving. I would guess all cruise lines are following the same policy. Maybe someone picked it up on one of the islands?? Mom and sis are still on for next February unless something major happens again.

Good luck with your booster and mam. I’m getting the booster this Saturday. I think with this new omicron variant, people are more anxious to get it. There were plenty of appointments in the ‘burgh up until about a week ago. Now they are going fast. Mom is not getting one, sis goes two days after me.

The Jake milkshake sounds heavenly. I mean divine. I mean there’s no fat or tons of sugar in it,,, is there????? Oh gee whiz. It’s time to break from watching the weight. It’s that time of year. Anything goes within reason. Don’t feel guilty. When was the last time you had anything that delicious????? What a great way to celebrate Jake & Jake. I’m sure your four legged friend had something to do with this……….hmmmm…….. 🎄🎁🍾

We are now home from Physical Therapy. I wait in the car and read for an hour or until hubby is done. Our next appointment is Thursday morning. For some reason I like the afternoon slot better. I had all the windows in the van opened and it was absolutely hot. So closed the windows and turned the A/C on. Waited a few seconds and opened a couple of windows to avoid any problems. Hubby was tired following his appointment and I didn’t argue in returning home. We can shop anytime. Today, better to be home.

I didn’t do anything yesterday or the day before so will restart this afternoon. The vinegar in the dishwasher works very well. One cup is all you need and then close the door to the washer and turn it on as if you had dishes inside. Comes out beautiful each and every time. I had the appliance repair people here after the new disposal was installed incorrectly. Had a full standing water situation. Contacted the plumber and he could not figure out what was wrong. To a tune of $100 the appliance repairman figured it out in seconds and it was fixed. Took him five minutes from start to finish. Told me to charge the plumber the $100. However, he was also the one to say use extra strength vinegar at least once per month on the dishwasher. Just so happened I had the extra strength on hand and used a cup. Had the plumber return and he thought I purchased a new dishwasher. Money well spent. Will be using a different plumber from now on.

Going to put my feet up for an hour and then will get started on the kitchen. The cabinet under the sink is calling my name. Of course this leads to other areas as well. Take care and do not overdo anything.
