Hi and thanks for the shout out. It was a busy week. As often happens, I fell asleep at the computer and would wake between 1 am and 3 am on a new day. I could be reading the news or playing a game not realizing I was falling asleep. Yet, I could have sworn that I wrote a message or two. Maybe I did and forgot to check that I wasn’t a robot and thus whatever was written went into limbo. This is the way it has been almost the entire week. Monday was the repair of the A/C ducts. Tuesday the doctor appointment where I must have been dogged tired because I missed the driveway to the medical building and daresay I ended up the next town over. Yet, I was able to mend the mistake and still made it to the appointment with minutes to spare. Hubby asked me to cancel his PT for Wednesday, thus giving us two days to get our act together. Friday was the PT and a stop at the Farmer’s Market. Then today we had the cable guys outside repairing the cable box. We are all set now. I just need to go out to the van to check on the next adventure with the PTs. Appointment sheet is in the book I’ve been reading.

Yesterday and today hubby began eating again. Now to get him to drink more water. The Ninja arrived today and will open the boxes tomorrow. I need to cleat and clean the countertops first. I think the next couple of weeks will be on the quiet side. At least I am hoping that’s the way it will be. Hope to get a lot done in between the PT appointments.

I know this is not a happy time for you. It’s not easy to celebrate the holidays without the people who stood by you all these years and cheered you up when you were down. What helped me to get through these days were the memories growing up and the gifts of their love and happiness when things came together. This will carry you through the hard times and the good times. I do miss my dad and mom. What I don’t miss are the issues that took them away from us. Shed the tears because it will bring you a new spring. Buy something nice for yourself and smile. And I bet, that gift came from above.

I did see something on a remake for “West Side STory.” Knowing it’s a Spielberg production you can only imagine what a beautiful tribute it will be to both Bernstein and Sondheim.

Today, I finally got some rest. Stayed in bed to just before noon. Best of all was in bed early, way before midnight. But for the last four hours I have been trying to get the printer to work. Finally happened. I am returning a few things to Amazon. I just want to mention that it is easy to work with their customer service department and I just wish other retail outlets would do the same.

Our Ninja arrived just a few minutes ago. Starting tomorrow I will be trying some things out. Right now waiting for the cable people. I know, if it’s not one thing it’s another. This problem is outside with the cable box. Seems the box came apart. I would not have known if our next door neighbor had not stopped to tell me. When we are out and about next week I will purchase a little something for her. She lost her mother a few months ago. She was her sole caretaker for over 12 years. They also had a chihuahua which has gone to live with her daughter.
And, yes, she has her moments. Just like all of us at this time of year and at other times as well.

I have been watching hubby today. He enjoyed the grinder. Normally he leaves some for the next day. It’s gone. Will make a stop at the Farmer’s Market on the way home after his appointment with the PT next week. I will be finding things for him to do. Exercise is not one of his pursuits, but will be starting tomorrow. I need to get him moving and to drink more water. I am beginning to think that the smoothies will really help in the long run.

Last night was fun. We didn’t have the crowd we usually see. But, it’s the season. Also, no real game to speak of. I am beginning to feel that people are starting to lose hope. We shall see.

Also congratulations are in order for an A+++ on all your exams. I didn’t have any worries. I knew you would be OK. Just continue what you have been doing. Me, I am going to keep the Mam appointment and do the booster after. This is just in case we can travel North soon after. We shall see. I can only hope and think one day a t a time.
