Guess I fell asleep early last night and awoke around 4 am with vim and vigor. The dishwasher was clean and smelled refreshing. Cleaned the kitchen a bit and need to find a place for the ice maker. I ran out of closet space, and just not sure where I can put it. The Ninja is here. The blender arrived last night around 10 pm by UP”S. The delivery on Saturday was the one we will use on long and short trips. We do have a Coleman frig for the van which works well when we purchase items from Aldi’s and Costco. I have recently seen where there is a frig with freezer combo for the car/van, but for now cost prohibitive. It’s a great idea during the summer months for carrying ice cream and other frozen goodies. For now, I either resort to ice packs or purchase frozen items to keep things real cool. Need I say we also have a refrigerator bag that we fill with ice packs as well.

I did a couple of loads of laundry today. Hubby asked to help so I let him put everything in the dryer. I went out this evening to retrieve the second load that he forgot about and when I opened the dryer lo and behold there seemed to be more items in there that I didn’t count on.
I did two loads of dark clothes. What I found mixed in was the laundry that needed a soaking, The white wash. I just hope the dryer didn’t set the stains in. Yikes!!!!! . This is just one of the examples I am up against. There is a bit of dementia. In a sense he is OK, but at times the little boy comes out wanting to help. He has had to relearn things that we take for granted. It is a gradual process. Thank goodness he has not plateaued. Everyday is a learning experience and some need to be reinforced. But the confidence he feels now repels him to do better. Everyday I receive a thank you for patience, and in the same breath he states “I have saved his life.: It wasn’t me who saved him. It was being at the right place at the right time in Savannah. If the paramedic had not been there working on another patient, who knows what could have happened.

Enough of my going on and on. Weather here is absolutely wonderful. Temps in the mid 70s and sunny skies. Today, as I was sitting on the lanai I happened to look at the clouds. There was a long line going straight down and on either side something that looked like feathers wide opened. If I didn’t know better it looked like a peacock with its wings spread out. The only thing missing were the colors. But the white in blue in the sky was just beautiful. This is one of my outdoor hobbies. Love looking at the sky and the clouds and then trying to decipher what it is I am visualizing. There is so much beauty surrounding us, that it is good to stop and sit back and enjoy life just as it is. Someday we will be able to enjoy it even more. Take care Sheba. Enjoy your walk with Poppy.
