Happy Christmas Eve… here’s to making your own merry, finding joy in the little things and being present.

Sheba, Your losses this past year are huge. I don’t know how you have managed to deal with so much. I remember your Father, Aunts and BIL. It is a lot. Your nieces and family members are fortunate to have to help comfort them at this time.
Guess we all deal with some annoying people or types who do things that leave us wondering why they behave the way they do. Sadly i have some too.
Thanks for the cute Christmas pictures and songs. We sang Rudolph the red nose reindeer in elementary school. Maybe we all did? I love it.

We took a ride late this afternoon to the Farmer’s Market. What a delight to be in this store just prior to Christmas Eve. Everyone was so festive and food and goodies for everyone. I did try the filet mignon which was so tasty and melted in your mouth. They also had Christmas cookies with signs that said “try me.” I was able to say no. Couldn’t believe I actually said No to my sweet tooth. And, yes, hubby was with me. He had his own carriage and when I was done he only had three things in there. An Italian grinder, 2 ears of corn, and cut up watermelon. Mind you I only went in there for three things and when all was said and done, my carriage was filled to the brim and then some.

I think your temp was very close to ours. I do not believe we got out of the 60s. Right now I am debating on whether or not to put the heat on. I guess it is time for the sweaters.

We also watched the awards last night and they were interesting. Bette Midler is so down to earth and was radiant. So nice to be able to relax and not have to be somewhere at a certain time. I did put a call into the doctor’s office again today. I wonder if they closed early for the holiday. Not like them not to respond. Oh yes, I sent one gift to myself. It was delivered, but not to me. I also ordered some laundry stuff. It also was delivered, but not to me. The stores have been notified and I received a replacement on one of them. Still waiting on the other.

Not sure if Trivia will be on tomorrow night. But I should be there, May be a good time just to put those feet up and relax a bit. Guess I better unpack those groceries.
