Thank you for asking they are all doing fine. My family had some symptoms but all are
back on track. I hope this virus goes away for good and soon. 😘

Taci I walk because I like how I feel after the endorphins kick in. I want new drug. 🎶😎
I walk to my music and the moon sometimes hubby comes along if he is home.

I have a black cat outside that I want to bring in but it is hard to get cats in. I feed him and make
sure he is warm with blankets my husband is a sucker for any animal. 😜

This reminds me of S. California. ✨

Club Sheba

Sheba, glad you Poppy got your walk in today. Yes, I did and am loving our version of a cool down. Did a little cleaning and baked the pre-made cookie dough cookies for hubby and son. The food inflation is just awful. Hubs said an item he has purchased form a local fast food place is up 40%. Yikes. He won’t go back.
How are your family members with Covid doing? Are they feeling better?

Good Evening. Still doing the hallway closet. As I clean areas I can return the items to that area. I found a plastic container with a lid and using that for all the tools. At least we will have one spot to look and not a million and one areas. Going to try to put paint brushes, and things that one uses for the feet of furniture to keep from scratching the floor. Right now, though, I am in the kitchen which is a complete disaster. Guess I didn’t put things away properly or created more of a mess. So, am going through the cabinets AGAIN for donations.

We are both fine. Hubby has not even attempted to locate his driver’s license or insurance cards. I do not wish to pull apart his closet again to look. He will need these for the hospital as well as for the booster shot. This is really driving me crazy. I do not know if it’s dementia or if the pain in his knee is so bad that being in bed all day helps. I would think that walking and exercising would do that knee good. As far as my back ache goes, I just take a seat until the pain passes and then resume what I was doing. I keep moving. Being a “couch potato” is not the way I do things.

Well, back to the drawing board. I see you are now having a bit of a heat wave. I just put the A/C on to cool the kitchen area. Please try to stay safe and have a great rest of the day.

Good afternoon in Oz. Congrats on the game yesterday, I will be pulling for them all the way. Hockey team doing well, they won ten in a row until yesterday when they lost. Can’t win them all.

A little warmer today so all the snow is melted. It will be an up and down week, only in the 20’s next two days then back up again. Probably just like Oz. I can handle the cold, just don’t want the snow.

Roast and potatoes are cooking, house smells good. Hope your family is recovering and all are “trying” to stay safe. Thanks for my favorite blue cocktail, I will imbibe later this evening. Hugs to you and Poppy.🤗🥰

Good Afternoon Sheba, sending warm wishes your way. I hope you and your husband are doing well. How are your family members doing, I hope they are recuperating well from the virus.
We have cloudy skies today but, I am not complaining because the temperature is 80 degrees.
I received a bunch of groceries, all wiped down and put away. I am starving now, only had a cup of coffee and a muffin today. I want to make me a pot of soup, have the broth and chicken in the freezer, just have to cut the vegetables.

Waiting for Someday

All the joy and passion you can envision can be yours right now, rather than in a future point in time.

The time we are blessed with is limited and tends to be used up all too quickly. How we utilize that time is consequently one of the most important decisions we make. Yet it is far too easy to put off until tomorrow what we are dreaming of today. The hectic pace of modern existence affords us an easy out; we shelve our aspirations so we can cope more effectively with the challenges of the present, ostensibly to have more time and leisure to realize our purpose in the future. Or we tell ourselves that we will chase our dreams someday once we have accomplished other lesser goals. In truth, it is our fear that keeps us from seeking fulfillment in the here and now — because we view failure as a possibility, our reasons for delaying our inevitable success seem sound and rational. If we ask ourselves what we are really waiting for, however, we discover that there is no truly compelling reason why we should put off the pursuit of the dreams that sustain us.

When regarded as a question, “Why not now?” drains us of our power to realize our ambitions. We are so concerned with the notion that we are somehow undeserving of happiness that we cannot see that there is much we can do in the present to begin courting it. Yet when we look decisively at our existence and state, “Why not now, indeed!” we are empowered to begin changing our lives this very moment. We procrastinate for many reasons, from a perceived lack of time to a legitimate lack of self-belief, but the truth of the matter is that there is no time like the present and no time but the present. Whatever we aim to accomplish, we will achieve it more quickly and with a greater degree of efficiency when we seize the day and make the most of the resources we have at our disposal presently.

All the joy, passion, and contentment you can envision can be yours right now, rather than in some far-flung point in time. You need only remind yourself that there is nothing standing between you and fulfillment. If you decide that today is the day you will take your destiny into your hands, you will soon discover that you hold the keys of fate. AMEN! ✨✨
