Thanks for the info. A year and a half ago I found an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist on Cape who also is affiliated with Ma. .General in Boston. He looked at the inside of both ears and asked a million questions and then had me see his Audiologist. After reading the report he wanted an MRI done to see if there were other issues. Everything was free and clear. He recommended hearing aids at that time and suggested Costco because they stand behind their products. As it so happened, Costco was no where near the Cape nor anywhere near my other home so I waited to our return to Florida. I finally went there in November and the Audiologist was more thorough here than the doctor’s office. My hearing was about the same, but he noticed that one of my ear’s has a tendency to distort some words and wanted to know if there was an underlying cause. I now am looking for an Ear, Nose & Throat here. There is one on every street corner along with dentists. I’m letting my fingers do the typing to find one on my own. Really difficult process. Definitely want to use Costco. My insurance also pays for hearing aids. However, when dealing with them, they give you a phone number with no name or other pertinent info. Cannot work that way. Like dealing with a known. Again, t hanks for answering. Seems we are both on the same wave length.
