Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Good to hear from you. I have not been out of town since Covid-19 started and
when this is over I have a lot of living to do. 😎Bella is this kind of dog: Pomeranian Chihuahua
The Pomchi is a mixed-breed dog — a cross between the Pomeranian and the Chihuahua dog breeds. Playful, devoted, and energetic, these small pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents. Pomchis go by several names, including Pomahuahua, Chimeranian, Chi-Pom, and Pom-Chi.This is Bella 😘💕🌹

Club Sheba

Hi Sheba;
Played at golf today in my pink top and Heidi jewelry. I have the necklace and earrings. It is a lovely pink. It was good to be in the fresh air. The usual luncheon was outside takeaway and not inside. My goodie bag had three ester lauder lipsticks. I had a lipstick on before I had my golf glove on.
I hope Bella is on the mend. What type of doggie is she? Have you met her?
Thank you for my goodies but I just took a bite out of the corned beef sandwich below. Yum. I am waiting the arrival of my Keto Treats from HSN
So, tomorrow I will be glued to the Telly. Yes, I will have my tissue box nearby.
Will chat tomorrow. Ari, Poppy and Chloe enjoyed the indoguration with all the Furbabies. They liked the food. Yes, my babies are on Farmers Dog.
See you tomorrow.

Many States have not received the vaccine. And on another note, there isn’t enough vaccine for the second shot. I would love to wait for either Johnson & Johnson or Astra Zeneca, but it is not in the cards for us since hubby made the decision to head North end of February/beginning of March. I’m a wait and see person. Not sure where the pandemic will be at that time. A lot of questions and no answers.
Glad you are feeling better and hubby is coming around more and more.

Thinking of you and your mom.🙏💗🙏

Sounds like you had a good night’s sleep. Sometimes when things catch up with us, that’s what is needed. Just do what you got to do. Hope the back is better today. Right now I am feeling fine. Back to eating normal and not overly tired.
Keeping all body parts crossed that you and your husband can get the vaccine quickly and head north. Bichon’s appointment sounded like it went smoothly. We are not handling this very efficiently in PA, especially for the older people. One man wrote a letter to the editor that he is 77 and the oldest of four siblings who lives in the ‘burgh. One is in Maryland, one in Colorado and one in New Jersey. They and their spouses have all received one or both shots already and he hasn’t even been notified of a timeline to get/sign up for one. And now our PA Secretary of Health has been selected by Biden for Asst. Secretary of Health in DC. We shall see how this pans out. Maybe PA hasn’t gotten enough vaccines – I don’t know.

The last couple days I have been feeling good. Done with the soup and had pork yesterday and chicken and rice for today. All seems back to normal.😊
Sunny but cold day again.🌞 I think we may hit 40 one day this week. Ran to the store this morning for a few things.
Enjoy your walks, Jake sending Poppy and Bella warm wags and snow flurry kisses.❄❄

Intent
When we live with intent, we own our actions; instead of habitually performing them.
We tend to associate the energy of intent with complicated or profoundly meaningful actions that require our full attention and effort in order to succeed. For example, walking a tightrope, taking a test, and taking a vow are all tasks that call us to be fully present and single-minded. However, intent can also be applied to everyday events, like eating breakfast or going to work. In fact, everything we do benefits from the presence of intent, which has the power to transform seemingly mundane tasks into profound experiences. You only have to try it to find out.
Intent is one of the cornerstones of the Zen tradition of Buddhism in which monks work for years to develop the stillness and sharpness of mind to do only one thing at a time. Most of the time we are doing one thing and thinking of something else, or even doing three things at the same time, such as talking on the phone, doing dishes, and boiling water for tea. There is nothing inherently wrong with multitasking, which seems necessary at times, especially in the midst of family life. However, balancing this with a healthy dose of intentional activity can provide valuable insight into the benefits of doing one thing at a time, being fully present with whatever the task at hand happens to be.
From the moment we wake up, we can apply intent to our situation by simply saying to ourselves, “I am aware that I am now awake.” We can use this simple tool throughout our day, saying, “I am aware that I am driving to work.” “I am aware that I am making dinner.” Or even, “I am aware that I am breathing.” As we acknowledge what we are doing in these moments, we come alive to our bodies and to the world, owning our actions instead of habitually performing them. We may realize how often we act without intention and how this disengages us from reality. Applying the energy of intent to even one task a day has the power to transform our lives. Just imagine what would happen if we were able to apply that power to our entire day. 😎

Good Afternoon in Florida. I was glad to see you post. 😘💕😎Oodie if you are tired
than you are doing the right thing rest.I am like you I love Rye Bread and Corn Beef. 😘💕😎 Bella jumped out of my daughter’s
arms and broke her legs in two places they are clean breaks. Daughter rushed her to
the Animal ER they put her little legs in a cast. I keep checking on the pooch and my
SIL my brother is worried but SIL is doing fine we speak twice a day. I shared a lot of
information that you shared on this thread she does have a lack of true smell and taste.
I told me she has headaches and some coughing all the norm for this Covid-19 .Oodie she said she cannot get a vaccine for 90 days. Looks like a lot of people can’t get
the vaccine period or until supplies come in. Family is keeping her spirits up. My brother
is taking the kids to school and keeping them away from her. I thank god they have a large
house and she is basically in her own world. I know it sounds harsh but she does not want
to give it to her children or the rest of the family. No worries the Dragon Fruit will be back soon in OZ I will keep an eye out for it. 😘💕
The mention of corn beef and rye bread makes me want to make this especially on
a cold day hubby would love it. 💕😎 -

and taste. I noticed a little cough but she has a healthy appetite and is moving around.Bella is my daughter’s new pooch and she jumped out of my daughter’s arms
and broke her leg in two places daughter took her to the ER and she is doing fine. 😘😎Have fun with your day and as you know I have the entire suite of Heidi Daus
